Is the airflow to the gpu blocked laying it vertically?

*The Asrock Deskmini+Ryzen 5700G:* Is still my preferred super-compact, yet powerful, mini Pc solution. I have two identical ones built. One is my everyday use Pc, and the other is a dedicated Emulation/gaming comp.

Did you had issues with the noice from the psu fan? I made a similar build with a similar psu before, and the fan was super loud. Even much louder compared to a gaming laptop

Cool little toaster pc. For any one wanting to use RTX 4060 LP in there build. I will reccoment to go for the asus rtx 4060 LP BRK over the gigabyte card. Reason is the asus card runs up to 6-8 degrees celsius cooler than the gigabyte card and also for those that like to overclock. Asus card allows you to raise stock power target from 115 watt to 127 watt while the gigabyte card is locket to 115 watt. I have both of these LP cards, that´s how i know this. The asus card can be a little bit more exspensive over the gigabyte, but in my opinion it´s worfh it.

The motherboard was even moved down a bit, they should have made the PSU cable cut out to go on the top of the I/O, would have been perfect.

This is definitely the type of build I'd go for today-because it is legitimately tiny....but have no need to upgrade yet. My last pc build from a few years ago was a sff, but still huge and heavy though smaller than a mid-tower. They need to keep shrinking gpu's and power supplies so we can have super small pc's. Because I'm a renter, we have to move around every few years, so lugging these boxes around is a pain in the azz and I don't trust movers not to damage these delicate and costly machines-so I move them myself. Something this small would be ideal because you can throw it and all your cables and stuff in a backpack.

There is no N100 with dual channel ram. There might be one with 2 ram slot, does not make it dual channel though.

Quite big. My SFF PC has 5,5L in volume, but it can fit a desktop 7950X3D (with power limit) and a full size (smallest on the market) 4070. PSU is a simple non-modular 600W FLEX-ATX with shortend cables and small noctua fan for quieter operation (does limit power to ~400W to prevent overheating).

Any good choices for a 12 tb external hard drive? And thank you for this im getting a new mini pc but i rather have launchbox on an external incase my pc ever crapsout

After all those pre-built mini pc's and handhelds - some actual SFF content. I like all your content using this well thought-out case, but PLEASE don't suffocate the gpu anymore. Either install case feet, or just lay it down flat, so it has access to air. Each time you build in this case, in every video it's featured, it's always blocked by the table and that's not the intended way.

4050 is really nice GPU, it's sad it's priced at 4060.

Late to the party...I did this with an EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF, i-8700, RTX 4060 (Gigabyte one w/ 3 fans), and a new power supply L77487-001 off eBay (to get the 8-pin power connector for the GPU). I trimmed the flip-up HDD cage to clear the RTX 4060 and it's 8-pin power connecter with a Dremel. The new power supply generates a PSU fan error at boot as the new fan isn't a four-pin, looks to be 2-pin, so I have to press enter every boot to clear that error, but I don't mind. I tried running a jumper from the tach out of the CPU fan over to the P2 header but that didn't clear the boot error...maybe I had the wrong pins...so I just press enter on boot. Runs the games I want to play very well at 1080p. Switch emulation for my daughter is great. It also serves as our KODI HTPC, been running it almost always on for about 6 months and no problems with the eBay PSU.

Any recommendations on best settings to use yuzu on this tablet???

Excellent Build! If you put this set up in a full tower case, and used PCI NVMe adapters, I wonder how many SSD’s you could cram into it for mass storage (not including a NAS)

This is probably THE BEST "mini" PC I've ever seen. The first one thar doesn't feel gimped with too much tradeoff to fit things in. At least with the CPU. It's a perfectly capable CPU all around for most uses. However, the one lacking spot is the 4060. I think it's just not a capable enough GPU for most modern gaming. I think a 4060 ti is about the lowest viable gaming GPU. Building anything lower than that just seems kind of a waste to me.

M.2 2280, optional 32gb with strix point APU, correct SD card reader issue, and add a kickstand so we dont have to use that stupid cheap carton one. I hook up an elite controller through Bluetooth, and it works great so i dont care about ergonomics 😂.

If you will check Custom_mod cases, you'll find under 4 litres case that can handle same setup

There is no reason to go for a laptop cpu and ram no matter the form factor. This build makes little sense.

Does it support cod mobile and mobile Warzone on iOS and does it work with ps remote play?
