I had the first Ania, after a pleasent time with the Sumiko Blue Point II (HOMC), and being a Rega fan, used to the Exact, i was blown away. At the time, i was using it on my Rega RP8. A few years later, i bought the P8, with the Apheta II mounted. If u go up the Rega ladder, and end up at the top range TT´s, u will explore new sides of music, and a deept into your beloved record collection. It changes my perspective of recorded music. That is how much an impact, an upgrade can make. Seriously. Love from Denmark.

The Rega mats are 100 percent Merino wool and cost about $60 a piece online. They are the best mats on the market. There is no upgrading from that.

Not sure yet, but I'm considering trading in my P2 to a P6. It would be quite an investment, though even with the trade-in value. I run the current deck with a Fono MM Mk5 and an AT-VM540ML.

Viva. Bestial!

Thanks, the Ania pro with a P8 should be a great pairing. If you eventually go for a P10 then you will need a better cartridge to make the most of the turntable. Many thanks for the comment. Mark

Amazing just how many lives he touched. God tier MC for sure.... All of the artwork was done by our inhouse GLR design team of Nick Purser and Gareth Paul Jones (both of which now run their own design studios if you google them) but If I remember rightly Progression Sessions 8 'Live at The End' artwork was done solely by Gareth. FYI easy mistake to make, but you called one of the albums 'Progression Sessions 4', where it is in fact 'Logical Progression 4' which was pretty much an MC Conrad artist album as you say. (there is another limited edition 3xCD version of the album where all of Conrad's tracks were remixed by GLR artists GLRCD004X). One album you seem to be missing is 'Vocalist 01' which again was a Mc Conrad artist album with some of his most famous lyrics over GLR releases and well worth checking out, especially to any new comers to his music.

It seems strange that as the hole in the middle of a record is a standard size why you need a different clamp for a Rega. Can anyone tell me why as I have a Rega and Linn turntables so do I need different clamps for them?
@Markymarkvinylnut7 ай бұрын
Good question! I know that Rega don't recommend clamps at all. I'm willing to give it a go and report back, thanks for the comment
@evowhite7777 ай бұрын
Rega OEM sub platters have a "shorter" spindle than most other sub platters so there is less spindle for the clamp to lock onto,this is why the Rega clamp(R)is necessary for rega turntables.
@evowhite7777 ай бұрын
@@Markymarkvinylnut The clamp may not fix that warp on one side as it looks like a "dish warp" which means,it will flatten the "convexed warp" but may not do much to the "concave warp" on the other side. Owning a version of the clamp in question I have this issue with 1 or 2 of my records ,I even use a washer to help with this but to no avail on this type of warp. Hope you have better luck than me with it anyway on my set-up the clamp does not add any sound quality so I`m not losing anything,if the record sounds good to you don`t lose any sleep over it...
