It did its duty. 🫡 By the by, if you want to make a Thunderbolt last longer, drop the MGs and ammo. Trade them for either Flamers (Succession Wars era) or Small Pulse Lasers (Clan Invasion era). On the tabletop, once things start closing into brawling range, dump any LRM ammo you have left. This will make you immune to ammo explosions on the left side, letting you tank even more damage.

Say what you will about AI. It will mean it is more achievable for people to produce in world music for their games

I like basically everything up until 2070, but much of what happens after that wouldn't be canon if it were up to me. I might be biased in this, since I started with 4th edition, but I don't think that's the main reason. The writing for late 4th edition material and what came after just feels different to me.

My least favorite edition is anything done by Catalyst. And to be clear. 4th edition was FanPro and was eventually taken over by Catalyst which is why you see a noticeable shittier art and editing difference by 2008. The gawd awful 2050 supplement is a testament to that. (The Predator has the same exact stats as a Predator IV just a $100 less. Really!?!) Also, the biggest problem in my opinion is that they stepped away from street level punks, thugs, and anarchist to everyone is some kinda navy seal combat merc team. It feels more call of duty black ops now.

Halloweeners are cool. I made them and The Ancients the apex bad guys as far as street gangs went. The Ragers and Eye Fivers are also fun gangs to use.
