Thanks for the review! Glad you enjoyed it. If you have anything you found that should be fixed up, let me know. I'll be happy to polish up that first episode book!

I really like this. I could even see a fun prolonged plot taking place within this setting. Thinking " The Wire" or " Looking for Mr. Goodbar"

That sounds really good. Reminds me of the old ShadowRun Companion, I think it was, that had suggestions for law enforcement, DocWagon, campaigns and the like….but having an actual made scenario really helps one get it going and helps a GM structure future adventures. This all helps expand the possibilities with SR👍

This is seriously a thing I would love playing in. I don't think I could run a game like that, but playing cops and lawyers would be an awful lot of fun.

Right? It would be really cool to actually play in a game like this. Sadly though I am my group's perpetual Shadowrun DM, lol

I've played in a similar campaign where we were police detectives. We always considered "runs" finished before going to court, but I kinda liked that better. It would take forever for a court date to be set in the world of Shadowrun, if one ever is. That campaign was one of my favorites. I loved the character I was playing and his death in the finale was a perfect noir ending. We had spent most of the campaign only stopping the henchmen and never the "real" criminals. When we finally directly confronted one, they were too powerful for us to handle and my character had to blow himself up in order to stop him.

I love street level campaigns. They tend to be slower paced at first but I always escalate the game to where the PC's are surrounded by much more power entities/NPC's. I like making them feel like a little bitty cog is a very complex machine, but I do give intrepid players the chance to shape the world around them. I've had PC's be private detectives before but never as a cop.

I ran a campaign with the players as Knight Errant officers. They were part of trial program called the Barrens Reclamation Unit(called brute squads by local media), they chased criminals into the barrens and started expanding patrols into the barrens areas. They also did runs on the side and really had to try to keep a low profile so they didn't lose their jobs. Looking at running it again so i'll have to check out this adventure

Bonus points if you prosecute former player characters.

I wish I could find a local game to get involved with. Just can't get into the online gaming action.

That's fair. I can't do the online TTRPG thing either, lol
