What if everything works and turns on, the first plastic piece comes out when inserting a new film cartridge, but when you take a photo the photo doesn’t come out?

Recently rediscovered my Polaroid 600 from the back of a closet. It still has a film pack in it but is not working. I forgot; does the film/battery just pull out by hand? Guess I should check for corrosion on the connectors.

Got a "broken" one of these at a thrift store and wanted to see if it worked and thanks to this video I was able to get it working! So thank you

how did you achieve that bright background in the water while you were doing the emulsion lift? gorgeous! Is it a glass dish of water on top of a light source?

Great video. I would love to know how you made the large Emulsion Lift of the lady which you showed at the beginning...or is that an inkjet printed enlargement of the original Polaroid size?

Your image looks so sharp. Which polaroid camera are you using? Mine don't seem to come out as sharp. I have a polaroid one 600.

If you ever come back, just know that we're still here, eager to watch what you put out. I remember when I first got into Polaroid photography, and collecting analog technology -- Your channel was a place I would check out often. Cheers.

Hey there! I would love some advice here. I have an old Polaroid 636 Close Up from the 90’s that I got from my Dad. It’s been really fun to use it, but the photos sometimes come out too white, kind of like in washed out sepia effect. Could that be because of the camera? I read that can happen because of the faulty film, but that happened for a couple of times with different packs of film. Am I just a bad photographer? 😅 I am thinking of buying a new Polaroid Now. It uses the same film type though, so I am on the fence with this one. My question would be, do you think there is a problem with the camera? Have you tried the new Polaroids? How are they comparable to the vintage ones? Thanks!

Hi, can you advise a replacement or alternative for polaroid type 100 film for me?
@spudric66832 ай бұрын
Have you noticed any differences with the type of film that you use? For instance, I’m using 600 but I also have an SX 70 and was wondering if there’s any differences in how you would do the process

Is it just me or did anyone else actually know this, but still went looking for a battery and made yourself feel real stupid 😅😅😅 After watching your video I remembered my grandpa telling me about this when I was younger and just a few minutes ago my older brother pulled out one of my Polaroids and was asking if it worked, I had just figured it was too old or something this whole time. Don't think I'd ever thought to get new film, at least until now 😅🤦 thank you, sincerely 🙏

I know this is an old video but man, what a great tutorial! I was able to make the double exposure device no problem, thank you! The question I have is, how do you avoid light leaks using this?? I’ve tried it twice now and both times I have massive light leaks from the stick side of the film. I even tried painting the stick black and still I get tons of light leaking in. Any tips??
@chazyarbrough73964 ай бұрын
I have the same issue, massive light leaks no matter what I do. Think the only option is to go into a pitch black room or use like a darkroom bag when putting in or removing the tool. Gonna try that and see if I have any luck. Let me know if you fixed this though
