Yes, as long as you water well, it’s a perennial, so I think a heavy mulch around it would protect it . It’s a very strong plant.

Thanks for commenting! I’m so glad you’re going to plant herbs. Try applying blood meal around your plants to repel the deer, I use an empty can of vegetables, fill it with 1/4 blood meal and top it off with water. Dig a hole as deep as the can and place that in the hole. It stinks but helps a lot. You have to refresh it on occasion.

I have found that a soil test really helps to eliminate guess work and helps you connect with what you need to do to build your soil. Feed the soil and it will feed you. ‘Quienes los trabajan la Tierra volveras a quienes’
