No offense but you’re not changing dynamic range because you have raw files…. I can shoot RAW on my fx3 as well AND I have AF, AND I have 12,800 native iso if I want. Also the rolling shutter performance on the fx3 is so good nobody except a pixel peeper could possibly see it.

Sorry just realized this is the 6K not even the X Komodo. Honestly man should have saved a bit more and got the X is a far superior camera over the original Komodo.

I am looking to get this Canon EOS 1DX Mark II camera within the next 2 months because I now have a Canon EOS 1DX Mark I and I love it. Just like it's successor, the Mark I is a sturdy, durable and heavy camera that takes great pics. Unlike some of these mirrorless cameras, the Mark I looks like a camera, feels like a camera and sounds like a camera. Once you've pick it up to hold, you know that you have a real man's camera.

The RED is meant to be operated by a team, also the scenes has to be per-planned. While the FX3 has AF, AE, IBIS and such which enables single operator live action scenes. The RED is good if it's under controlled lighting, static dialed in settings, and good rigging. But it will under/over expose if it involves any dynamic lighting. FX3 pretty much take care of the rest once you press the record button.

Also this is the original Komodo not even the X which is a far far better camera.

The 3d pop is the lens's flange distance; use EF or SLR lenses and you will get something similar on the RF cameras.

This is super cool, but thats massively insanely overkill for your own content and skill level. I'd bet get money a used a7s mk1 still be underutilized. GASing is so 2024

great video. I've shown 1080p movies at movie theaters, works fine. next movie will be in 4K, my 1st movie in 4K, the 8th movie (fiction feature) I've made so far. was looking a tiny bit into 8K, not necessary :).

I think the old usm motor L series lenses are not video centric. Especially with the jittery focusing. Having a heavy almost 1kg lens on a gimbal is not ideal either.

Hello there, you can sence the build quality in these professionals DSLR`s. Even in the 5DMK2, you can feel the MADE IN JAPAN... (also old pro Nikon bodies are robust as a tank). For photo assigments you dont need the latest and greatest cameras! As for video, is another story.

Nice video I like the vibes guys! Let’s say you own the Canon R10 and the 50mm f1.8, having the option to pick one lens between: 16mm 2.8 ; 24mm 1.8 ; 28mm 2.8 and 35mm 1.8 in order to get the most versatile combo, Which one would be?
