Great progress. I wouldn't worry about the road looking too flat. Factoring in the distance we view it from and the scale, the roads should look flat. Cheers.

Which sound file have you installed into the Sentinal please. The cold start up is brilliant and fits in well with the size of the loco. And the surprise to see the 15 appear from nowhere. Ps. Leave the paint job on the senitnal, i personally think its spot on job. Looks great being able to just about see lner on the side. Top job

Hey thanks for subscribing. Some people think I am mad for doing this. Don't know if I am the first. It has an HM7000 21 pin decided with the class 31 sound file. I like it. Regards Bernie

Think it's a brilliant idea. And something which couldn't really be ruled out. Remember rule 101, it's your model railway and you can run what the heck you like. Haha.

Well it works, the sound with the shape. Now turn your 08 into a steam engine. 🫣

Hi Bernie l have a low budget for my oo gauge layout but in a way its good because we have to do real modelling not just buy and plonk it on the layout already done, and some of the prices of things nowadays is taking the piss .so good luck with the 0 gauge mate, All the best Colin from Mossend 😊.

Good advice Bernie, the main purpose of a layout, building and running, is that it should be both relaxing and fun. I actually prefer smaller layouts, especially if there is an element of shunting which can provide hours of fun. Even with a handful of wagons and a loco, the possibilities are massive! Love what you’re doing mate, you’re an inspiration. Keep it up 👍👍🇬🇧 ps hope we haven’t seen the last of OO though loving the O gauge stuff too

Just do what you want. Rule 1 applies. Instead of 'prototypical' insert what's 'visually appealing' to you. We all learn from others. Keep it up Bernie. You're doing what YOU enjoy.

@@bluebear6570 Praise indeed thank you. Today I just added a 120mm section to module two or the yard, just to be able to add a few structures and space out the front two sidings. Also consider if you have one master module, you can build slave modules to attach onto the head shunt for more variety and keep enjoying the building process. Bernie in NZ
