Good advice Bernie, the main purpose of a layout, building and running, is that it should be both relaxing and fun. I actually prefer smaller layouts, especially if there is an element of shunting which can provide hours of fun. Even with a handful of wagons and a loco, the possibilities are massive! Love what you’re doing mate, you’re an inspiration. Keep it up 👍👍🇬🇧 ps hope we haven’t seen the last of OO though loving the O gauge stuff too

Hi Bernie l have a low budget for my oo gauge layout but in a way its good because we have to do real modelling not just buy and plonk it on the layout already done, and some of the prices of things nowadays is taking the piss .so good luck with the 0 gauge mate, All the best Colin from Mossend 😊.

Just do what you want. Rule 1 applies. Instead of 'prototypical' insert what's 'visually appealing' to you. We all learn from others. Keep it up Bernie. You're doing what YOU enjoy.
