I live in Ebbw vale, and those quartze crystal looks very appealing and your photos look marvellous. Literally I can walk fifty yards to a bank with a hammer and shovel and can dig out rather large milky quartz stone and some iron ores, lime stone, lots of veins within most rocks would be very interesting to see and have a go

About the 6.40 6.45 min mark you said you feel like you'll find a big one, and in the picture was a rock that had a slight resemblance to a head, could you tell me what kind of rock that was and do you ever find "odd" rocks .
@ukgemhunters
@ukgemhunters 8 ай бұрын
Yes always finding odd shaped rocks. That one was a pinkish quartz. British version of rose quartz I suppose, but it's half way between chalcedony and quartz

Hi, think I could do with you coming down to our favourite beach here near St Austell so my Husband and I can get our eye in on proper geodes as all I'm finding is quartz points that are sticking out of the host rock lol, oh that big one I mentioned is gone, either moved by the waves or Hercules came and carried it off lmao. xx

Hi, new subscriber, I'm impressed with how you make your video's and show people what to look for, I have found countless geodes where I live in Cornwall but I have no clue how to go about getting the best from them so they stay whole for now lol, I have also found so many small points which are quartz with iron staining.
