I want to see an Everybody Hates Christ style show about young John’s life in 80s/90s Chicago

Is this the same John who grabbed a 40, smashed it on the ground and yelled “SCATTER” when the cops were called at that party? Cause if so that’s bloody hilarious

I did the same at a Shakey's Pizza in Chicago, but I played Steve Martin's "King Tut" ten times. After the fourth or fifth play, somebody came out and yanked the power cord out of the wall so hard that sparks flew.

There’s something about the harsh distortion of the guitar (especially on songs like Don’t get 2 close, Captain Fantasy and Never Squeal) that I enjoy, it’s pure brownness. I also find the absolute silence of the crowd odd and songs like Mango Woman, Ode to Rene and Buckingham Green being played here years before they were released/studio recorded. (Going gets tough and Reggaejunkiejew goes soo fucking hard on this though)

the guitar distortion mixed with the super clean drum samples pleases me in a way I can't describe

This was brilliant. I only found it after watching a reaction video to NC doing 11 best eps of South Park and reading comments. I have to-have to post about a real on air rant that went viral because the anchor was fed up with fluff pieces of news about the K family- this one was Kylie Jenner naming her rabbit Bruce. From (FOX 35 NEWS )The newsman *John Brown) got up said he couldn't hear another story about the K family and walked off the set, the show is airing a Facebook clip of Kylie driving with caged rabbit on the seat eating. You hear him off set saying "it's a nonstory , a nonstory , we talk about this family every freaking day on this show! "(lol) I don't want to talk about the Kardashians. The original clip is now shown with n an updated clip of the newsman telling the story and walking us through the rant. (lol) When I first saw it I gave him a standing "O".(lol)

This footage and parody is from "A.I.: Artificial Intelligence (2002) - Nostalgia Critic S6 E15". For those of you unfamiliar with this movie, the infamous sci-fi/fantasy cult classic is a Stephen Spielberg/Stanley Kubrick collaboration project created out of respect to make Kubrick's ultimate and surprising dream film come to life after his sudden death in 1999 during the production. The plot of "A.I." follows a mother named Monica Swinton (played by Francis O'Connor) who, while her son is in a coma, purchases a robot child named David (played by Haley Joel Osment) who has been permanently programmed to love and feel emotion and whom the real son when he is unexpectedly awakened back to life becomes jealous of for accidentally replacing him as a son. After a horrible accident the real son causes leads to David's heartbreaking abandonment by his mother, he journeys into a humans-versus-machines world trying to find the fabled Blue Fairy to make him real to fulfill his eternal happiness and longing for his mother's impossible and sad return, even when aliens arrive 2,000 years later and can bring her back for only 24 hours. The film was originally conceived by Kubrick in the 1970's as a special "sci-fi adaptation of Pinocchio", a film that he intended to make with his friend Spielberg's design, plot ideas and overall tone of the movie in mind for this next film of his in particular. After Kubrick had died, Spielberg finished the entire movie as originally planned, in honor of the passing of the usually dark and philosophical "2001: A Space Odyssey", "A Clockwork Orange" and "The Shining" director and the unusually bright and happy result got mixed reviews as a response, saying it was a mishmash of tones and very odd and weird as a result. The "A.I." review itself is a very underrated one especially for this parody and the ending behind-the-scenes reveal near the end, which is the reason for the Nostalgia Critic's change at 4:09-8:32 (not going to spoil the twist for you, watch the review itself if you want to know or do some research on your own, it will blow your freaking mind and change your entire opinion and outlook on Stanley Kubrick forever) and is easily one of my favorite NC reviews, period. Check the original video out, it is a GREAT review! Here's the link to the review if anyone is interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zna5gKt6i7h0nKc I recommend rewinding it all the way back to the beginning, I'm watching it during the time of this special comment's upload.

In my early 20’s I was at a private yacht club bar and it was mostly senior citizens. They had a cd juke box with several 1980’s compilations. The usual air supply , Toto, reo speedwagon but on disc was “Ca Plane Pour Moi” by Plastic Bertrand. When it came on the older folks looked around as if someone hijacked the jukebox 😂

When Phil Collins was losing his calm demeanor at 0:20, the nation of Canada must of been worried and monitoring the situation closely. Our neighbors to the north narrowly escaped disaster that day. The Mustard Tiger's rage would of been felt for decades. 🍔 💀

There are people laughing at what I imagine is their awkwardness toward the somewhat earnestness in songs like Demon Sweat. These folks just have no idea what to do with WEEN! They're seeing one of the best bands ever in an early form. They can't quite comprehend the brown.
