@@SouthSideTechZw I think Chinese companies would rather ask for forgiveness than permission in cases like this😂 Samsung at their stage in life have learned the opposite! Half jokes aside, I think it has to do with the types of risks each of them are willing to take, their different primary/priority markets and possibly, their different messaging on how valid they claim their readings are. There's also the IP landmines that can pop up, like what happened to one of Apples watches a gen or two ago that forced an update to kill a feature but only in a certain region.

Platform integration is unfortunately a thing with Samsung watches. You always leave something on the table with other brand phones. For battery life, I think you can turn off the Cellular radios completely. If it polls networks all day, it could make a difference.

I think advertisements are a very slippery slope judging from how much KZbin ads annoy me. But again, I will be relying on them to fund projects on this channel so it's rough. I think there needs a balance maybe

I enjoy your local tech content-creations judging by the gear that you have presented you seem inclined towards the windows/android ecosystem maybe in the background and of curse resources permitting try Final Cut Pro . invest in a decent Pro iPhone for high resolution videos plus a gimbal for mobility for when you climb up the roof to entice us with your Star-link, a compatible Mac for editing and maybe a USB C mic to plug onto phone and you are good to go with minimum clutter but reaching seemingly inaccessible places just suggestions, nothing wrong with what you are doing

Thanks a bunch bro! You're right, I am deep in that Windows/Android workflow and honestly it's because that's what I can affort at the moment. The Apple workflow is a big investment, so big infact that instead of getting a good quality Pro Max iPhone, i will drop the same money that I would need for a Sony Alpha 7 Mark 1, a more versatile camera. And using an iPhone for filming would push me to the Apple ecosystem and I am not sure if it's worth doing right now. Perhaps i'll milk everything right now from the Windows/Android workflow One thing I see being extremely attractive with Apple is their Apple Silicon powered devices. Performance per watt is crazy! I might consider that down the line. But I am building my studio with Universal compatibility in mind. The audio interface I got works on both Mac and Windows. The plan right now is getting the key pillars covered. Audio is covered now. Next is lighting and then the Camera. And I am still learning all this so i'm a sponge absorbing all the feedback so thank you so much!

@@SouthSideTechZw I hear you. Do not underestimate yourself though. You never know when you are going to strike the gold. Also Mac/iPhone is not really that out of reach especially these days with so many options and bargains available. Kutyira kure in most cases for many of us.

you can also use droidcam or iriun cam to make your phone a webcam it gives you control of your phone camera from your laptop.

You just install the app on both devices. I use it for teaching english online. The nice thing is you can put your phone in flight mode and turn of the screen

Your said your phone over heats right. If you out it in flight mode and turn of your screen it reduces the strain on your battery. I have been usijg this with a note 9 since 2021 and my batter is still great im using it now

Lol with the new audio setup I'll not need the mixer... hopefully. There are a tonne of missing elements and gear for that quality but we're ticking off them boxes one at a time
