Currently binge watching your channel. Out of the last 7 episodes there was about 30 cars on video, all of them white 😅 Is that an overlanding thing ? Keeping the Africa-sun in mind.

Did safari in South Luwanga in 2007. Our jeep was charged by an elephant whilst broken down and was pushed onto it's side. Quite stressful1! But even with that a great experience which I will never forget.

I once spent a very hot dry end of November and most of December in the Kgalagadi, then came back in February and the riverbed near Mata-mata was completely green, like a golf-course.

HI Excellent series of videos - I'm envious!! Please advise what gear you use for filming, other than the GoPro's? Cameras, lenses, microphones, etc? Thanks!!

I saw your video and I'm very impressed. We are travelling to the Kgalagadi in November. Where did you book the campsite at Rooiputs or did you just turned up at the gate going into the camp
@JubasJourney Жыл бұрын
Hi there. Thanks for the feedback. You have to book Rooiputs it is very popular, booked a year in advance. You book it via Department of Wildlife and National Parks in Botswana. Enjoy your trip!

Love it. My wife and I are flying from the UK to visit this area for a "once in a lifetime" holiday in October and are watching videos like this to get a good idea of what to look out for. Really enjoyed this one and can't wait for our own experience. Thanks for making this.

Night Driving is NOT allowed leaving early from Rooiputs for Mabua >> Rather stay at Nossob then go = Better Planning
@JubasJourney Жыл бұрын
There was no night driving, we left at gate opening time and we stayed at Matopi not Mabua. Staying at Nossob is not always an option, nor does that mean you plan better.

When does Africa Season 2 start? 🙂 Ja Juba, I have watched these videos through more than once. What a Herculean effort putting all 20 odd episodes together, that in itself is an achievement paralleled with the journey. How do you view life now because the stirring of the sole cannot be unstirred? Settling into life again can only be seen as temporary once such a trip has been done. I get the sense that the sole will feel caged if you return to the rat race for too long.
@JubasJourney Жыл бұрын
I have been filming season 2 for the last 2 years, but I have not had the time to edit the videos as overlanding is now my full time career. I could not do the rat race for long. Shortly after our trip I started my own company called Endless Africa and I now do guided tours through Southern Africa. At some stage I will upload videos again.
