Thanks, it's a great site to visit as there's some close access to locos but bins for the rest. Not the nicest part of Leeds though so be wary. Had a few locals warn me while there! Eek!

Lovely, especially the absence of intrusive accompanying music.The trains provide the only soundtrack needed IMHO. BTW .... Checked carriages against Wiki page and for those in No.4's train, boy, does that need updating (in a good way!). If the outstanding rebuilds are done to the quality of No.11's (at Keef's), the line will be well set for motive power for a good 30-40 years.

Didn't we build some horrible looking locos from the 80s onwards??? 56 s were shite big awful looking 47s with much less character....

I think the troubled Crewe Alexandra FC is sitting on HS2 money; I think they should restore the disused platforms and build 2 new ones on the avoiding lines for the Manchester - Liverpool / Wales trains so they don't have to cross the main line on the level; this would relieve a lot of congestion in the station area... If it wasn't for HS2 it would be a good idea to expand the railway museum into the disused part of the station...

Very nice video thanks. Your video style is great, steady hand (tripod in some shots?), no fast panning or outrageous zooming to follow a train, makes for very natural viewing. Excellent picture quality also - what camera are you using? Certainly made the best of an inclement day. Thanks again.

Those LSL 90s look fab! The FL 90s, not so much. Amazing how a livery can make or break the look of a train.
@soundseeker632 жыл бұрын
It is sad seeing those stored locos slowly deteriorating. And the 86s deserved a better send of than they got - 55 years in continuous mainline service is one heck of an achievement, can't believed they are now just dumped there unceremoniously. What a shame. A shame also is that horrid new livery on the class 90s. FL Powerhaul was a pretty ghastly livery that really did not suit any of the locomotives that carried it, sadly the new orange is little better. A pity because they are nice looking locos when painted correctly.

Not at the moment, but who knows what their future is. The 90s have superseded them for refurbishment.

@@hoovermanuk430 They should move them into dry storage really. Letting them deteriorate outside like that is painful to see.
