Something I really love about this cutscene is how it mirrors Gascoigne, who when low on health transforms completely into a beast. Ludwig is the opposite though where he begins as rampaging beast and then regains some of his humanity before the end. One of the best boss cutscenes in the whole soulsborne catalogue
