+LIBERTY PRIME there's a ridiculous amount of items, enemies, areas etc which slot into dark souls. one example would be the sens fortress serpent guardians being in kings field 4. another the horse knight statues in dark souls 2 etc. loads and loads and loads, in fact if you play through any of the kings field you'll just be running into references 24/7.
