I stand heavy on NLBN. It’s maybe 79% of my tackle haha I got all their products They hold onto the hooks good due the screw lock, they glide through the water preciously, durable bait to throw back out after multiple thrashes , and a variety of fish will target. I always tend tie on artificials anyway, love the diversity of action you can put in them to trick fish. But of course when in doubt, live bait could work over the favor. Nice vid, very much enjoyed👍

They may have just made me a believer too! Thanks for watching!

Probably a good idea in the future to have a rod with a popper on it so when you see a bill fish or Oahu you can bring it up to the bait your casting
@MaritimeExpeditionsКүн бұрын
Definitely a good idea! I was not very prepared to see that😂I’m glad I at least had a bigger rod for the mahi!

Dude ! Love the video but you need to get some 70 SPF on that face or it will end up looking like mine. Enjoy the sun, but learn from others, keep that skin covered. Great and incredible day on the water. Just subscribed. Keep up the great work.

I love my nlbn’s but durability wise they aren’t the greatest. when it comes to toothier fish jacks and mackerel tear the 3in to shreds, the fix glue works good though.

True but that would most likely happen with any soft plastic lure. For what It is though they are pretty good!

Your being harassed! And your sucking up to them,they’re assholes. They’re friendly but they’ll write you up in a second They’re not your friend. This is why I quit fishing, that and and ridiculous slot and limit sizes. FWC and the fish regulators have ruined fishing. It’s all about the money they’re making on the fines,

They aren’t all bad guys. Definitely the good ones are fewer these days but I still respect these guys since my grandfather was on the force for 30+ years as a lieutenant. These guys were just doin their job at the end of the day so any way I can help them get about their day the better for me because the sooner we get to go fishing!

Man, Florida has some beautiful looking fish! Dont get those kind of colors here in NE. Surprised your Minn Kota wasnt keeping up, must have some serious current there. I have a single battery Minn Kota and have never had a situation that it hasn't out performed. Maybe a 5-10 foot drift during heavy winds and current, but as soon as it gets a second break, im right back on target. Minn Kota was the best investment on the boat, even better then the fish finder.
@MaritimeExpeditions10 күн бұрын
Thank you! And yea it’s just a thrust issue with the 24 volt system and only an 80 lb thrust motor. Just wasn’t enough to keep up with the heavy current. But agreed the trolling motors nowadays are a must have

If you get a school of Mahi the first one you catch tie it to the boat and leave in the water. You'll catch everyone of them and the bulls usually out of the main school a bit. Just a tip for anyone who doesn't know 🤙

Typically I would but since I was by myself and wanted to definitely get that bigger sized one in I just focused on him. But that is definitely a good technique when you have some smaller dolphin on!
