1. You should flour first, then egg wash, then flour again, or breadcrumbs, cracker crumbs, or corn flake crumbs. 2. Two lemons is too much. Less is more. 3. You’re crowding the pan. Only cook a couple at a time. That’s why they aren’t browning because you’re boiling breaded fish in lemon juice and wine. The cold fish is bringing down the temperature inside the pan. Either poach them skinless that way, or fry them in butter and seasoning to make them crispy. Then deglaze the pan with wine and lemon juice to make the sauce. You’re welcome 😉

what a tremendous video back in the 90s lived in naples used to make the trip to islamorada and spend 2 weeks fishing on a party boat twice a year it was called the caloosa we used sandballs exclusively one trip some front was coming the bite was hot since the per angler limit on yellowtail was10 the boat limit was high I brought home 27 yellowtail almost all flags and threw back lots of keepers that day it was the most fun fishing you can imagine the line rippin thru your hand flipping back the bail and boom, this video had my heart thumping like that day. what a day for you. thanks

Great video and epic day !! I noticed you tossed the anchor without a break away setup. On that style anchor you’ll lose it if snags rocks. Try tying it off from the back end of the anchor and zip tie the chain to the front eyelet. The zip ties will break away if it gets snagged on rocks and you can pull it out in the reverse direction.
@MaritimeExpeditions2 ай бұрын
Agreed! Definitely would have been the way to go. Didn’t have my zipties with me and wasn’t factoring that my trolling motor wouldn’t be able to hold me. I kinda just threw It in sand and hoped for the best 😂. But definitely will remember my zipties next trip! Thanks for watching!

Man, Florida has some beautiful looking fish! Dont get those kind of colors here in NE. Surprised your Minn Kota wasnt keeping up, must have some serious current there. I have a single battery Minn Kota and have never had a situation that it hasn't out performed. Maybe a 5-10 foot drift during heavy winds and current, but as soon as it gets a second break, im right back on target. Minn Kota was the best investment on the boat, even better then the fish finder.
@MaritimeExpeditionsАй бұрын
Thank you! And yea it’s just a thrust issue with the 24 volt system and only an 80 lb thrust motor. Just wasn’t enough to keep up with the heavy current. But agreed the trolling motors nowadays are a must have

Pretty work bro!!Was fishing the patch reefs west of Key West near Western Dry Rocks and had a 40lb Bull and two teener Cows in 9ft of water it was a trip and of course we were bugging out and the customers were lookung at me like whats the big deal 😂😂 Dolphin inside the reef is a trip!!!So a little hack for measuring for legal Yellowtails put them across the top of a 5 gallon bucket nose on the inside edge of the bucket and if his tail fits inside the bucket throw him back. Standard 5 gal buckets are like 12.5 so it keeps you safe. Also when you make that chum mixture pour a cup of Menhaden Oil in it, makes a killer slick!! Happy to hear you say "give me a Cero" super underrated eating fish fried or sashimi!!!! That Bonita would have been butterflied and stuck to the bottom 😂 dropping those rods all over the deck is making my ocd flare 😂😂😂 days like you had by yourself are the best man, such a blast. By the way your filleting skills dont suck! And you nailed it, NOTHING thinner than Linguine!! That looked so fire!!!

where can I get the Tournament Master CHUM , Im in the Shouth West Coast
@MaritimeExpeditionsАй бұрын
To be honest I’d have no idea. I know tournament master is a great brand but I think any kind of chum will work for the most part.

Dude ! Love the video but you need to get some 70 SPF on that face or it will end up looking like mine. Enjoy the sun, but learn from others, keep that skin covered. Great and incredible day on the water. Just subscribed. Keep up the great work.

Haha I know It man! I spend about half my days on the water so it’s hard to be persistent about staying covered up but I needa do a better job of that! Thanks for watching and subscribing!

If you can find some clay it will make your bait last 10 times longer we use that with bait and shrimp to make the balls up with Clay instead of sand

Very interesting! Definitely have to try that out. Thanks for the tip!

@MaritimeExpeditions I'm pretty sure the one I have is made by bulbhead I will look for it today and see if I can find it but I haven't used it in a few years since I quit smoking anyways

I don’t know what you have for a reel , but on this end it sucks being so loud when cranking. Almost like a pig squealing.

Admittedly they could use some grease!!
