VoicePlay continues to amaze me with their big hearts. Love how they brought the kids in with the singing. VP just dropped Be Prepared with Geoff as Scar.

For me Amira is the Best. Not a version of the Vergine del Angeli..as emotional as the renditions of many other opera singers, like this for instance of Mirusia Louwerse - with Andre Rieu in 2008, which for me is very good, vibrant and very "subtile" (my opinion). Of course , there are many other renditions of very famous sopranos but all of them seem to be of the same style. I believe that this aria is first of all a prayer... To my opinion, there are in Amira so much power, so much control, something perhaps metallic and here maybe something refined. Does her interpretation best match to what Verdi expected (?). Maybe again a very personal interpretation of amira , as for many other songs/arias, like Ave maria, o mio babbino carro,etc..(?). Her way of singing gives here something very special and above all something of great Beauty. The way of filming her and the choir which seems to me very very good, the both contribute to this impression...😊😊 Thank's Amira willighagen !!
