Do you remember the first time you discovered Angelina? I wish I could remember the first time I discovered Angelina. I've been following her about 4 yrs going on 5. I only know I was hooked immediately and had to see more. Every time I was blown away and couldn't wait for the next one. Of course, it was immediately followed by the next one and the next one and that continued late into the night until I had gotten through all of them. I believe it took 3 or 4 weeks but 180 videos, now going on 200+, is going to take time. What a great library and the whole story of her life up to that time. I believe it was shortly after her appearance singing 'Bohemian Rhapsody' on AGT. I've been listening to her every day since then. Then I discovered reaction videos which I had never been interested in. Until I found Angelina. Now I could watch new fans being born every day both in the reactors and their followers. Plus, the fact that I could watch the first reaction when it was their first and relive my own 1st experience with them every time. And then I discovered the comments. Again not a clue but oh my goodness what a wealth of knowledge and history as well as links to even more content. To learn the story of why she sang barefoot again blew me away. I now began to be astonished by her incredibly huge heart and humanity in this little girl. How can you not be impressed? And so it was off again watching every interview and hidden gems not found on the sites I had already exhausted. I took my time and continued searching for anything new. Of course, Angelina continued to put out more content and I found Tiktok and had another whole new world of Angelina to explore working and living in real time. Beautiful short clips of her experiencing and growing right in front of my eyes to the beautiful young lady she is now. Even now I get to find a rare gem never before seen or experienced. Like the new clip of the full 6= minute video of Angelina singing at 18 months old. That was a total surprise. No clue it existed because as I'm sure most other fans were unaware. I don't think it had ever been released. Of course, every pure fan of Angelina had seen the 20 second clip of that originally from an interview or documentary of her life early on. I thought at the time that was all there was to that video just a short 20 seconds of little baby singing to a Whitney Houston song but again I figured it was an unexpected blurb from a little baby. A rare glimpse of a baby mimicking a singer. Not a clue it was only part a full six minutes+ 'performance' a young musical genius developing right from the very start. What I was actually witnessing was in reality one of Angelina's first practice sessions doing what she was born to do. Singing and becoming a superstar. Startling again and another unexpected glimpse into this genius right from the start. Here is the clip if you haven't seen it. 6 full minutes of Angelina singing at 18 months. www.tiktok.com/@yasslayqueenslayforever/video/7287820477815360811 It is a legendary story now and has been since she first stepped on stage. I hope there are still undiscovered or unreleased glimpses of her journey. One can only hope. Do you remember your first time? ♥👣

My reaction was much the same the first time I saw Angelina. I was just browsing youtube and saw a thumbnail for a little girl singing "What a Difference a Day Makes'. The picture reminded me of my granddaughter who lives in Hawaii that I only get to see about once every three years. I've always liked that song so I decided to check it out. I was so amazed I had to see more. Until then I had never even heard of reaction videos. Thus began my journey down the rabbit hole and in three and a half years, I think I've only missed 3 or 4 days. Like you, I still occassionally find gems that I missed along the way. I am so thankful that God chose to gift the world with Angelina. Her generation desparatly needs her kind and loving influence.

Hey Bud 😉 Great to see you again, I hope you're doing great! And thanks a million for coming back to Angelina. I'll just be very modest and say that you've been missing out with her EP, because it is absolutely amazing! Her incredible versatility and lit pen game is on full display. And also, just a week ago she released a new song called Our Time which may very well be the one that really puts her on the map in the US. The song is for an add for SoFi, which is already airing nation wide I think. And the add will be played a lot during events at the SoFi sports stadium as well. Do us and yourself a favor and check these songs out ? I'll just quickly give you my personal top 3 from her EP, this one is on 4th 😊 1) Good In Goodbyes 2) Diamond 3) All My Fault Have a great weekend and take care☺ Love from Norway ♥♥♥

What a good reaction! I think that 50's guitar sound is similar to "Ghost Riders in the Sky" from the 1948 movie Riders in the Sky. But only the staccato sound with the note marked on the fret of the guitar.

I hear those vibes too. She is her own style. You need to hear her new EP "old enough" consisting of 6 songs release in June, and new single "Our Time".

All the songs on her EP and there are 6 are originals. Really there isn't one that isn't really beautiful. Been following her for a long time since 9 and I really love and admire her dedication, hard work, she deserves every blessing that comes her way. Blessings to you from a 77 year old gran from South Africa.

You have to remember that her musical mentor is the greatest improvisational singer of all time, that being Billie Holiday. Angelina has adopted many of the inventive facets that Billie brought to singing like unique phrasing, breathy, whisper like releases, mid sentence key changes and a host of other elements from Billie. Angelina brings her own personal improvisational aspects, that when combined with the huge range of vocals she has mastered and weaves them in with what she learned from Billie, it's understandable that she would say in an interview with Nadia Neophytou, that if not for Billie's music, there would be no Angelina. She has heard all the great singers of all time but Billie stands 'alone' at the top of her musical pedestal. What's amazing is that Billie was actually a poor 'Black' female who had no musical mentors and was born to a 13 year old prostitute and a father who she loved but was rarely around. Her improvisational singing, so excited her first manager, that he brought her into the jazz clubs of Harlem where she was crowned 'Queen Of Jazz'. The emotion laden penetration way she would sing ballads is also something that Angelina has channeled into her heartfelt ballads and is rooted in the knowledge that the pain Billie exhibited in her vocals were personal and real. You see, Billie found out that her father died when hospitals in the south refused to treat 'Blacks'. Then she came across a poem that was called 'Strange Fruit', which she made into a song. It told about how 'Blacks' were hung dead from trees throughout the deep south. The song was banned from all radio stations in the south but still sold over a million copies.

I have been calling these genre cocktails. Every track is a slightly different mix. It's so fresh, yet pays homage to all those great vintage sounds. For instance ITS ALL MY FAULT is more Lauren Hill Fugees era. Then the very recent release OUR TIME. Is a really great bop. She's definitely sampling. In DIAMOND she even has one tiny line of lyrical rap. Your in for a treat all round.

Dear Pappy. A/B/C/D/E/F/G. That's what music is made of. Seven notes. Of course you see similarities. The difference is how you interpreted them. 3/4 reactions? She has close to 200 videos on the net. Do your home work kid and you'll see that with those 7 notes she does things that nobody else has even ever thought of. No offense. Just an advice from an Italian Angel. ❤
