Awesome. Next time ask them to score the edges on one side only so you can make the corners sharp.

@@akiko009 the more options the higher the price, I didn’t added castellated edge pins even 😅 but yeah the V-score profiling will certainly produce a more coherent shape 😉

Its also known as a "tracker". I use one at work, we've used this circuit for troubleshooting since the 2000s. Very useful once you learn how to use it. The schematic is online. I think I have a few tracker boxes made up.

How much power is it consuming? Does it heat up?
@DIYGUYChris
@DIYGUYChris 27 күн бұрын
@@window.location A great question, I didn't highlighted the power consumption on the video, I set the LED brightness to a maximum of %10 (check the code from the download link) this will help the battery to keep the Cube alive for at most 32 minutes, with some random delays between animations the Cube could stay up for longer.

@@DIYGUYChris Great project been following your work on instagram for some time :D. What about idle current of the led matrix? I would presume led drivers(in each led) draw some small current in idle that adds up considering there is a lot of leds.

I think there is a fault in your circuit. You started out by saying you wanted to include temperature control of the battery. This requires 2 resistors as a specific voltage divider, feeding the TEMP pin. You didnt. Well you don't have to, but my understanding from the datasheet is that the TEMP pin in that case has to be connected to ground, not to Vcc as you did. This could lead to unpredictable shut off
