Well that's what a good guru does to student, like measuring for a tailored suit. Almost all use rational & critical reasoning & logical methods used in traditional teaching. And standard practice & syllabus regimes. Few teachers have deeper clarity & insight into student though often they don't differentiate based on that as not needed nor deemed useful. A siddha teacher might even see past & future lives of student & current lifetime purpose but that's very rare. Often teachers, upon questions, look into their clarity to see what is to be applied for student, sometimes via dreams or divination. However I don't see much point in enthusiasm for much variation in tailoring systems for each student in initial stages. Sports Champions & the ordinary often start training within the same routine procedures, later each can variate upon talent & diligence etc. But that's what great gurus & supreme sport coaches still do, everyone goes through the paces first. A great coach doesn't see himself as a freelance personal consultant trainer. Also using other systems, diverse or modern, alongside is perfectly fine but syncretism or mixing them into Tibetan traditional systems had always been discouraged. In fact even lineages are never mixed into one syncretic whole, never mind other divergent systems.

I remember just after trump 2016 Ken wrote his post truth article…then done a couple of interviews. I was a physicalist without even knowing or questioning it until ive had satori experience two years ago, and what these two cats are saying is completley true and experiential, you can FEEL it for yourself. There is a mind at large, and all the living beings are in the oneness of mind at large. When your body dies, you will go to oneness with all the minds/souls that were once alive and still are (theres no time in mind at large, so everybody is already there) you will have the best time of your life. All the beings including trees, plants, fungai, animals, humans, every living being that has any level of consiousness will just shower you with love like youve never felt before and they wont stop it, its just infinity of love 😂 Its like they wanna try to kill you with so much love, but you cant die ofcourse ❤😂 And they will make fun of you for taking life to seriously and even call you an idiot like they did me. 😂 I remember it like it was yesterday, ive connected with mind at large, with oneness and ask the following: "is there a one god on top of this?" And couple of TREES laughed and said to me "Youre it, you idiot" 😂😂 and then i said "but so is everybody else here, and i love you all!" Then we laughed like morons and went on through tunnels of unimaginable beautiful art and history of living beings. That's a good point about the pre/trans fallacy! A surface interpretation of the Bible can lead to that. With a more esoteric interpretation of the Bible the fall as I see it was a necessary step for humanity to go from undifferentiated oneness (much like an infant) to a state of sin as in separation for the purpose of the development of unique and sovereign individuals. The next step is not back to the garden of Eden but to paradise where the individual is transcended and included.

So, if reality is composed of "mental states" that are neither mine or yours, how do those mental states originate, and from what do they originate?

He often presents his ideas as if they were proven facts, when they are only hypotheses. He presents himself as a scientist, but a scientist should not state hypotheses as facts, the scientist should properly and clearly qualify those ideas as hypothetical.

Philosophy is the mother of both science and religion, One travels outward into world of possibilities. The other travels inward ( from the skin) into realms not yet chartered by the minds. Both are based on human aspirations and beliefs. Spirituality appears to start on the inward journey when mind is benumbed with failures. This appearance is unreal, it encompasses all; but is recognized only when mind gives up. We are all spirit, one spirit with differing centers of point of orientation.

Awareness of these layers becomes deeper, more subtle, and goes beyond the known. We are that beyond as well as the known. We are everything. We bleed into all things. This I know through perception. Don't waste your life in thought when you are the Universe. You are total consciousness. Everything is everything else. Everything flows through everything else. We are the things that moves all things through all things. We are the whole structure of consciousness including me.
