I feel like I live in a parallel universe because i am not in the camp of hating or just shrugging that it’s just ok ,I absolutely love the song remains the same . I was 9 in 1976 when i bought it brand new and it still gives me chills . I am fully aware that many zeppelin aficionados know that it was not one of their best shows and yeah I still love it and the movie is of midnight Cinema lore it was part of my culture growing up. But we all respectfully have our own preference. I loved all the picks for the best of 73 live .

Well awwright... just want to wish everyone aka my musical family and friends a Merry Christmas. Hope y'all have a wonderful and safe holiday. So on that note, 1973 live albums. Honestly, I've almost shortened my list for this year because I feel like 1973 wasn't really a big year for live albums like, 1976 or 1978. But once I dig deep into the list (and my collection), I've realized that I do have some good ones on my list. So today, I have 6 live albums and one least favorite live album. Are you ready for my list Cleveland or whatever y'all are? Well here's my list... My Top 6: 6. Ike & Tina Turner - Live! The World Of Ike & Tina 5. Genesis - Genesis Live 4. Traffic - On The Road 3. Yes - Yessongs 2. Various Artists - Wattstax: The Living World And my number one favorite 1973 live album goes to: 1. Bill Withers - Live At Carnegie Hall (OMG...I love Bill Withers! Oh, he was amazing. I miss Bill Withers!) And now my least/worst 1973 live album goes to: Black Oak Arkansas - Raunch N Roll Live (here's my Damar's Dilemma...the picks y'all have on the worst lists are good ones but I didn't want to mentioned them because I didn't come cross of those albums. And I was also going to mentioned CCR's Live In Europe because I used to hear that on the cassette back in the 90s when I was digging deep through my Classic Rock journey around the time Barbie Girl and Blue (Da Ba De) was everywhere. Just like the King Crimson album last week, the sound quality was trash. Maybe it was the cassette. But I picked Black Oak Arkansas because I didn't get it. I only know them from Jim Dandy and that's it but oh boy... I'll let y'all handle the rest lol) That's my list. Again, Merry Christmas my homies Crystal, Paul and Tommy and everyone here in the AISB community. See y'all in 1974 at the Garden

Thank you, Paul! I always look forward to seeing where our musical universes overlap. I prefer Ghost In The Machine. Invisible Sun is my favorite Police song of all-time. Maybe a Depeche Mode album match up in the near future? I know you at least enjoy Music For The Masses. 🔊❤ Your pendant is awesome! ⚡️🐍

Great track v track! I have to agree that Ghost is the better release. For me, Zenyatta is the weakest release in their catalog, but it's still better than the third albums released by most other bands. I was going to put Zenyatta up against Synchronicity but then I realized they don't have the same number of tracks. Anyway, great video, and thanks for the shout out!

I’m a huge fan of the Police; I was immediately drawn to their music the first time I heard Roxanne on the radio. I wasn’t a big fan of Ghost in the Machine when it first came out, but it has grown on me over the years. As far as your decisions go, I would go for The Other Way of Stopping (I’m a big Stewart Copeland fan) and Man in a Suitcase. Apart from that, we agree and the end result (Ghost in the Machine for the win) would be the same. Good video!

Man, I loved the Police in 81-82. Zenyatta is still their peak for me, and Driven To Tears is still my all-time top Police song. This would be an interesting contest for me, but side 2 of Ghost is where I start to drift away from them. (For the record, I kinda hate the Synchronicity album.)

I'll weigh in on what Tommy mentioned regarding people's musical taste. People are often influenced by the "bandwagon effect," where they align their opinions with the majority. If an artist becomes popular, many people may rationalize why the art is good to fit in. Similarly, if it becomes trendy to dislike an artist, people often adopt the same attitude. I will also say that there are cases where some music may not be comprehendible to you while others "get it". There are some artists or genres I don't like but for me it could be that I don't get that musical style and maybe I never will. For example I do enjoy King Crimson and other progressive rock bands but I totally understand why some people hate that genre or group of artists. Anyway, great show as always!

This has to be, off the top of my head, the albums I listened to the most in 1997. I took off reissue of the tracks that compiled South Saturn Delta, A Jimi Hendrix family legacy release. I play that all the time still, but songs were from1969-70. Sorry Ms. C - FLOORED by Sugar Ray got a lot of plays for me over the years. An honorable mention along with Suenos Liquidos by Mana , and Pastores, Torturas y Otros Misterios by Maria Fatal that are fun Mexican Rock albums. 10.MARCO - Marco Antonio Solis- Attended album recording sessions and saw many live performances in 1997. Great Latin Pop. 9. Flaming Pie - Paul McCartney. A real great album as Paul B. suggests 8. Talk Show - STP with different singer. I really like the Deleo brothers’ playing together. 7. Marcy Playground (debut) 6. Bridges to Babylon- Rolling Stones . My favorite band. 5. Where Have All the Merry Makers Gone - Harvey Danger. Give it a spin…all of it. 4. Whatever and Ever, Amen - Ben Folds Five. 3. Blur. - Blur. Some nice b-sides as well 2. OK Computer - Radiohead. Perfect album 1. Cheap Trick (1997- Red Ant album) One of their absolute best. All what we love about CT was back! See the Sub Pop single too as suggested. Baby Talk/ Brontosaurus
