This video is great, thank you! I see that you've the bulb side up in terms of the the tail gate gap/bottom. This seems better as the ESI instruction say either or but include pictures for the bulb facing down which seems odd to me.

I too, appreciate the free market at work here.. It gives us more and more options in a hobby, where we were worried about our future, especially with who would of won the election... Whew !!! I do like the true port, sequential injection approach here.. Though I'd want a wide band sensors on both banks.. I would also like to a mass air sensor included as well, and not spread density .(assuming I'm ignorant, and there isn't one included in that throttle body already) It's tough to get beyond all of the guys who made the jump from carbs, and had there hearts, wallets and hopes crushed on KZbin....
@mechanicbuilt8 күн бұрын
I like we have all the options on the market. I love my holley and edelbrock carbs, though I do hope in making my truck something i can road trip in with no headaches with tuning and adjustments, and hopefully this would be one step of many steps yo get there!

Sorry, that jacking jack stand is kinda stupid
@mechanicbuilt8 күн бұрын
I dont see its purpose in a shop as a replacement to the traditional jack and jack stand, but it is more marketed towards those needing something better than a scissor jack on trucks and SUV's.

I was really looking at this for my '74 Duster running an LA360, but from what I have read that the included distributor is so tall that the with the spark plug wires on it would hit the windshield wiper motor. There's a guy that modified that distributor to shorten it to fit.

I'm wondering how it would be able to tune each cylinder with just one o2 sensor
@mechanicbuilt12 күн бұрын
O2 sensor is there to read how much wasted fuel is coming out of the engine in order to adjust air fuel ratio. Also assuming compression is all the same in all cylinders. Ive never had an issue installing tbi kits. Though this video is towards port injection.
