Nice! Thanks for the tips. I've never been to Vegas, but I plan on going during a SEMA event. I don't know much about filming and cameras, but I do know that a rig is used for top-tier filming. Look into a drone too. Get SEMA from the air! :)

Unfortunately, we cannot fly a drone due to the airport being so close to SEMA. I saw your comment and double checked this.

@mechanicbuilt I actually thought about that, too. There are more and more drone restrictions in populated areas. ... War doesn't help the drone situation either. It was fun while it lasted! Drones are cool.

I have been attending the SEMA Show for over 26 years with other employees. This year they have declined my registration and are demanding my Business Licence and tax returns. I've been retired for a number of years including last year when nobody asked for documentation. This is no longer a "Trade Only Event" The General Public are being allowed in as long as they pay $120 to "Walk The Floor" on the Friday. It is now just a money grab as they have realised in recent years attendance has dwindled, especially from International visitors. SEMA your discriminating against old retirees from your industry.

@mauricecraig9531 it's the way it's been headed for nearly everything car related. To attempt the Canonball record requires $$. The Gumball is now regulated to billionares... I watched Jackass and Mischief run that. Owning one super car is not enough. It has to be a hyper car or it's 💩 Money replaced enthusiasm and delegated it to a sales team.

Sema has become "blownout", they forgot about the returning exhibitors and made it more difficult each year to register you and or crew. I sometimes miss the madness and sometimes glad I'm not in the scramble of the show.

You can walk outside for free to a poiny. Most check points are towards certain areas outside and obviously the buildings
