Why does everyone mention Kasabian? They are clearly two different sound going on, Serge will likely turn Kasabian `into an Electronic band, the song 'Treat' type of stuff, which is decent stuff. Serge will start to get laughed at soon if he continues as lead singer. It will be the usual, drain every penny out of the fans that want them to back together. Be interesting to know how many people think Tom is so much better, all his songs are his, and Kasabian as a band can't reject songs and ideas he had. It's that or Kasabian become a band with a guest vocalist and look like a tribute?

I was just reading around about Kasabian, and how people honestly (Unless it's Serge writing in a fit of temper) think Tom's music is poor to average. I like to think i know my music, from (Bowie, to Faith No More and everything else thrown in Mansun, Ride, to Talk Talk) and i wasn't a huge fan of Kasabian I did see them Live in February 2004 I think they did share a Headline tour with a band call Chikinki, But it was only when i saw them on TV in 2005 at Glastonbury i thought wow these are special, but it was always Tom, if he wasn't in that band they categorically would NOT have been as successful, Serge has Tom to thank for that and deep down i think he knows this and was always looking to the main man., but it really doesn't work like that you get respect for what you are good at, don't blow yourself up but if you have an ego use it naturally, Tom has ADHD so he is naturally impulsive, and it works if you are a frontman. What put me off Kasabian was Serge trying too hard, swearing doesn't suit him, he sounds like he has just learned the F word and is using it like a teenager. If you watch the gigs back now you can see him wanting the limelight for himself, and now Kasabian just sound like a tribute band for Kasabian, Serge now sings up front alone with the band cast aside about 100 metres or so behind him, no cohesion, and it's just all about him with his coloured tracksuits and matching trainers. I have no hatred towards him, but i feel a bit sorry for him and the band.
