Couldn't agree more, had one of the best nights of my life seeing Kasabian at the m.e.n back in the day, it is what it is, we all make mistakes there are no saints, tom is an outstanding singer, an MC really, and a fucking legend in my eyes

@@davidpearson6785 What gets me is the Ego-Sergio long game. not that ES could have plotted it. But that he knew that before Kasabian existed he wanted to the frontman in any band. But didn't , as a frontman voice have the voice, PRESENCE or the bollocks to stand out and be credible and do the hard yards in the rough pubs and clubs. Then when the band acheived success, the ego that is Ego-Sergio let things go and manipulated the situation passive-agressivley. To appear blameless. Two choices, help Tom or stand back, watch a mate self destruct and step in 'blamelessly' and get what he wanted from the start but didn't have the quality, charisma and charisma a frontman has to front a world class band.

This song is beautiful. Leagues ahead of what Serge is putting out now. Which is odd cuz i always heard Serge wrote the songs for Kasabian. Either he had a stroke, or that isnt the case, cuz his new shit is traaaaash. Good to see Tom carrying the torch for Kasabian, keeping the spirit alive. This song is a well made SONG. A NEW song with a great new sound. Serges new shit is just ADHD noise. Toms new material sounds like some of Kasabians best new work. And listening to Tom sing the classics, it is crystal clear he is necessary for their sound. Yeah the music is a big part, but its Toms cutting, soaring, ethereal vocals, with his specific accent, paired with the music, that makes Kasabian work.
