Just 30 tons to Mars is not feasible to support 2 people! I struggle with 400 tons pre landed on Mars using two V3.0 Starships to make a sensible Mars human mission.

Why don't we ship a crew there with some CNC laser and 3d printing formats to take the resources that are there dig wells and think about 3d printing martian Adobe homes sealed with elactomastreric spray with doors and entrances printed and modules that can be copied and connected into with even creating arcylic on the spot or why not bring the red mercury and gyroscopes better yet why not discuss the real reason we need to get a colony there so promptly

I don't think I've ever been the first commenter on a youtube video....but anyway, the idea that NASA would refuse to included experiments and instruments designed to actually test for life (as did the Viking landers) for fear that they would not find it, is so discouraging. From the conversation it sounds like the possibility of 'extant' life on Mars is now generally regarded as minimal.
