Pretty busy day with all those little red snappers. So maybe it October they will be eating size.

Yeah once the water temp goes down the big ones will be there. Lots of hardheads were out there too

Honestly, taking my kayak offshore 5 miles out has been nice to get on some red snapper! A few more weeks and they'll be keeper size!

That little fish at the end was a trigger fish I seen bunch of them on “Camera Man Ron” on KZbin ! Those fish were like buzzards at a feast lol !!

Ive seen a lot of people fellet them and it seems so much easier to steak them, like you did. Ive seen videos about the blood behind the skin tastes really bad and youre supposed to gut them and bleed them out right away. How did it taste? have you tried the other way to compare?

We've cooked em fried, steak and made fillets and all taste pretty good however you cook em. When it comes to fillet it's more work trying to get all the meat but still really good. And yeah it's best to bleed em out once you catch and want to take one home to eat. We also let it sit in water with salt for bout 30 to an hour

If I remember correctly it was around $500 to $600 for the 2 of us and yes it was in state waters. They have all sorts of trips out. Hoping to go again this year

I've been looking into all options for a pedal kayak to fish mainly in harbors but going out offshore sometimes as well. Most swear by hobies and old towns but im curious if these lower end kayaks that i think are built for fresh water how they hold up in salt water? Have u taken it out to sea a few times? I read that the main shooter issue is the steering cables rusting or breaking eventually. Its been about a year, how is this kayak holding up, do u have a follow up video? Thanks in advance!

I've had friends tell me it's a waste of time to go to Red Dot Pier. Caught a 36-inch drum like that myself out there and I know people that have caught them that big as well if the trends are right you can definitely catch them there

Yeah when it comes to fishing piers there are lots of times you won't get on much fish. The best time is when the drums are running through and of course early morning

Thanks for sharing. I'm in the market for a boat and i really want to go to pedal drive. Just being able to hold position in the wind without having to pick up a paddle seems worth the extra money. This one is better priced than any other fishing pedal drive boat I've seen.
