If I remember correctly it was around $500 to $600 for the 2 of us and yes it was in state waters. They have all sorts of trips out. Hoping to go again this year

how far out did you all go? the last charter i asked was Deepsea Headquarters and they told me that they dont go out for snapper till Jan - May .... if i had known people still go out i would have done a few trips this summer

They took us out 2 and half hours out offshore. Don't really know bout how far but yeah they do the red snapper season from June 1st to August 19th for federal waters

Honestly, taking my kayak offshore 5 miles out has been nice to get on some red snapper! A few more weeks and they'll be keeper size!
