@@bankasupa I’m not gonna list my opinions in tenmiko because this isn’t about that, but I mention tenko because Himiko crying and letting go wasn’t because of Kokichi. It was mainly because of tenko, the reason they showed a flashback of tenko during that moment. Also, even if tenmiko is or isn’t better, oumeno, i would say, is most definitely a proship.

Personally, I don't believe Oumeno is toxic. And, as an Oumeno shipper, I don't ship them solely because they're short and childish. At the end of trial 3, we see one of the very few moments of Kokichi being nice. Though his words sound harsh, the fact that he decided to say something *at all* proves that he felt sympathy for Himiko. Everyone else was about to leave her alone, but Kokichi created a moment so that *everyone* in the room could console her and cry with her so that she wouldn't feel so alone. Had Kokichi not said anything, it's possible Himiko would have bottled her feelings to the point where she might have taken her own life. She was really depressed. Shuichi thought the best thing for her was to leave her alone, but Kokichi *knew* that she needed a good cry. Besides, why else would he have said anything to her? Why would it matter to him if she expressed her emotions, or not? It wasn't part of his overall plan to defeat the mastermind. So, why say anything to Himiko in that moment? I believe it's because he truly felt sympathy for her, but to keep up up his evil persona to fool the mastermind, maybe that's why he sounded harsh. Because of Himiko lying to herself, I think Kokichi can relate to that, and I think that if they took the time to actually talk to each other, Kokichi and Himiko would make an awesome couple. And, about the teasing, Kokichi was the least harsh with Himiko. He actually never straight-up insulted her. By that, I mean that Kokichi never has an issue calling people "dumb," or idiot," or "stupid," "boring," "worthless," etc. He even calls Miu a bunch of nasty things. Even Gonta, who is really nice and just wants to be a gentleman, is occasionally called "dumb," or "idiot" by Kokichi. However, he *never* calls Himiko any of those things. He never straight up calls her ugly. He never calls her dumb, or stupid. He piggybacks off what other people say, or finds a roundabout way of insulting her (comparing her to canned tuna), but he *never* straight-up calls her "ugly." He never has a problem doing that, so why not just straight-up call Himiko ugly? Personally, I think he doesn't want to hurt her feelings too bad because I think he really does have a soft spot for her. And I don't think Himiko truly hated Kokichi. She wanted Kiyo dead after he killed Angie and Tenko, but even after all the stuff Kokichi had done, she didn't want *him* dead when Maki suggested she'd kill him. I have way more reasons why I ship Oumeno, but I'll stop there. I do believe it really is a good ship. Like any relationship, it would take time and effort for it to work, but I think Kokichi and Himiko actually work really well together.
