her sister junko is a very fun and eccentric but they way she treats mukuro at times you can definitely tell junko is the more dominant person in their relationship. Which definitely makes mukuro insecure or like ok (security not being ok with the things junko wants her to do) so I agree with your opinion.

My Naekusaba head canon is that Mukuro is protective of Makoto, like if Junko tries killing him Mukuro would be like: “NO THATS WRONG” and idk yeet her or something

The only flaw with the ship in my opinion is that Mukuro is dead, therefore it cant set sail. Definitely my favorite Makoto ship, but alas, twas not meant to be. I cry every time i think about what could’ve (should’ve) been. But at least we still have Kirigiri, right?

I think the reason why I love this ship is because In the cannon of Danganronpa, Mukuro get emotionally abused by her sister over and over again. And Makoto is like an angel compared to Junko. Look, I like Junko Enioshima, she even my favorite character. But I don't like people being emotionally abused towards their own sibling. Because that's just cruel. Like seriously, why would she calls her own sister a disappointment. Like why? 🤷‍♂️ But I do have theory tho. So my theory is this, what if when Mukuro left to joined Fenrir, Junko felt betrayed that her sister left her behind. So after this happened, Junko started to develop a hatred in her head for her sister. So she decided to always call her a disappointment as a way to mentality abuse her and as a way to say to Mukuro without saying it directly this: " You left me behind when I needed you. But now, you have betrayed my trust. And I hate you."

@@MegaStrike OOOOOOO WHERE DO I EVEN START well junko is a huge cuddler so she loves cuddling makoto especially when they sleep his presence keeps the nightmares away like she prefers to just lay down and fall asleep on his chest falling asleep to the sound of his heartbeat Also they both like bears and sometimes talk about that Junko has floofy hair and makoto has fluffy hair so when cuddling junko likes the feeling of makoto nuzzling his head on her while he likes to inbew his fingers in her hair Oh junko is a touched starved individual she can’t recall the last time she ever touched someone that wasn’t to cause harm on them where’re strait forward or not but when makoto first held her hand it felt like her heart exploded Makoto believed anyone could be a good person if they tried so while he didn’t like what junko did he was still more then willing to help her so when he first developed feelings he was a bit frightened for she was the girl who ended the world but as they hanged out more and she redeemed herself he saw her less as the girl who ended the world but he own person who was willing themselves to change Junko enjoys unpredictable and unexplained things and makotos luck was most unpredictable it was fascinating cause it was one of the few things besides despair that interested her and unlike despair she did not have to hurt herself for it but it wasn’t just that from watching him she saw a great strength and kindness in him it impressed her that he just might be the one to stop her And he did so she couldn’t be more happy for it I actually wrote a thing for that Also as she likes unexplained things she also likes space after all there’s still so much we don’t know about it so sometimes she likes to go out lay down and look at the stars and makoto once joined her it was beautiful

Problem with Naekusaba is that Naegi views Mukuro as the same as Junko, during his DR3 despair meltdown he sees everyone who died during DR1 that he has survivor’s guilt for letting them die, that is except Junko and Mukuro. Also Mukuro being incestuous for Junko kiiiinda makes it harder to ship imo.

-MINOR SPOILERS FOR DR ZERO Yes, i'm aware with her relationship with Junko and of course in the canon timeline, after trigger happy havoc, Makoto views Mukuro as on of the despair sisters. But have you read Danganronpa Zero? I choose zero because i want to stick with the canon timeline. So in DR Zero "Isshiki Madarai" tries to crush Makoto's head and also threatens Yasuke. But luckily Mukuro comes in and kill "Madarai". And then Makoto repeatedly thanks Mukuro and says that he's glad that she's here to save him. That's quite a shippy moment, isn't it?

@@MegaStrike I’ve read DR zero, honestly considering that Junko already had the ultimate analysis and Mukuro was pretending to be Junko at the time, I presumed that Junko told Mukuro before losing her memories to not let these people die, that’s more of a personal headcanon though so valid point.

@@MegaStrike eh, too headcanon for my personal taste. Considering that Junko’s in love with Matsuda I doubt she’d have much motive for trying to get Mukuro to fall in love with her. Seems like Mukuro kinda did that on her own if anything.
