Rocket got me to GM last season. Reached Diamond about 3 days before the season ended. Started winning with rocket and I think I only lost one or two games between diamond and GM. He's so underrated

Whenever I'm not playing strategist or vanguard I usually pick Wanda mainly because she can protect your strategist from divers and her ult can also just one shot Luna snow during hers

Unironically I think you should try staying in the air more. I've been practicing that and it feels so nice like it's how you're meant to play him. Rocket struggles to headshot enemies and heal moving teammates on the ground so once you're in the air, you're safe from most of the dps and tank roster and you can headshot easier. Being in the air also means your heals will bounce meaning more healing in total. It felt like I discovered a brand new character once I started flying in the air. It also enables you to follow and heal diving teammates without worry about yourself getting hurt, I play with a Majik player and I support them whenever they go in and it feels nice. I haven't tried it in ranked yet but I could feel myself being more useful as Rocket does 192 dps and you can heal around 140-210 healing with one orb once you're in the air compared to the usual 70. I highly recommend you give this a try. I am diamond one and I was Gm 2-1 last season. I did main Hulk to get up there as people would insta lock healers and dps but no tanks and I am a tank main but whenever I do play healer it's always Rocket. Seriously give this a try it feels SO GOOD, you can challenge so many dps characters and if you're in the air and heal yourself you fall the same speed your orb descends meaning you get more value from your self healing as well. You can easily kill the meta pick Storm doing this as well.

I think the other interesting thing about rocket is how much the revive does, not only is it a 40 second revive, but it also grants 25 armor packs and a super jump. Now teammates almost never collect it but it’s still a cool thing he has

I'm a Rocket Lord and I've never had somebody complain about me being a Rocket one trick (mostly). Once you go Wild Crawl and Jet Boost, it's hard to go back.

Rocket is one of my favourite Strategists, started maining him D1 Great at escaping with him, but I find I struggle a little in using his ult and I forget to place B.R.Bs while in mid-combat, from time-to-time

Not sure how useful this tip may be but I've found I've been able to jump onto the cart for a quick wall dash. It's helped in a few spots for me.

I just love how everyone and their mother was saying rocket was the worst support but look at him now😂 I figured this out by accident and I already thought people knew about this tech🤷‍♂️

GM Cloak and Rocket here. Amazing gameplay, just one thing I would do differently is not intentionally get close to enemies especially in open space. The higher in GM you get the quicker you may get 1 shot if you do not have natural cover or an escape route within a second or less away

i tried to do this in season 0, got to two wins to GM and went on a 8 game losing streak :( Between that and people just yelling at me for playing Rocket in season 1, im pretty de-motivated to try again, which sucks because i really like playing Rocket.

Haven't seen your channel since you played lies of p about a year ago, rocket has been my favorite strategist to play and I'm really glad that they buffed his healing since a lot of people called him a trash healer but he's Way more than that, a perfect mix of survivability and damage

Please for the love of god teach these random rocket noobs in low elo that you do infact want to shoot shit as rocket.... There is this dumb idea floating around that you should only heal ever as rocket. I see constant >400 dmg delt at the end of game and they tell others that rocket is a heal bot and you dont shoot on him..... Blows my mind that anyone would see a chain gun and think "I dont wanna shot that"

Love the gameplay, but also its hard to focus because your sona's vtuber is so god damn adorable

People like to complain about one tricks but I couldn't care less as long as your giving it your all, don't intentionally throw and we're good. People always yelling at their teammates which sometimes things can get frustrating but your on the same team so just work together and try and find a groove man. Also anyone hating on Rocket or whoever else should probably spend less time malding over a character they don't play and spend more time getting better at their characters, nobody cares how much skill and time it took for you to master your hero guys, they just don't.

I need help on playing Mouse and Keyboard. I am a Rocket and I am determined to main him AND play by keyboard on PC. I need help learning it. Someone to train with while playing it.

Rocket might get some flag for having a 1 star rating in difficulty, having a simple kit and low damage at range. But there’s a lot that goes into playing well as rocket and you my friend are a master of him. Let people be mad you’re getting value and having fun playing an “easy” hero.

How do you proc the random jump boost in the air without picking up the blue shield from his respawn?

raccoon needs a nerf badly and people need to start reporting the ones abusing terrain mesh that cant be accessed by 90% of the games caste. Its really bad on yggdrasil while he sits in a tree at second checkpoint unable to be seen/shot because the tree is a giant hitbox /mesh somehow.

You won't die but you sure wont kill anything either as rocket

Not dying is Rocket's biggest strength. Most people don't realize that.

I've used the wall dash tech a lot, I feel like they might patch it. Although I hope they don't.. it has saved me so many times... I do wish they would make the cooldown between being able to crawl on walls after hopping out of the wall smaller. Lots of times I try to escape and Rocket just won't grab the wall, lol. I like you, we play basically the same way! You're better though.

I just get abused for playing rocket even tho I heal them never die and keep them alive .
