No it's a totally different system. But there are definitely tons of Coho upstream from that beach.

Im pretty sure I went there last summer (no names 😉), the mountains look really familiar. Didn't catch anything off the beach that day but we caught some ground and rockfish from the boat. saw huge 15-20lb coho jumping in front of us there but ill have to slay a northern next time!.

Shore lunch!? ... but who needs a shore!? 😂 Never thought to just eat in the boat and keep fishing at same time! I miss fishing in the boat with my folks when I was a kid. Trout is my favorite fish. And yes, eat the bones folks and skin if you can learn to cook it so it is crispy and palatable too. Better for ya on both. Great video, thanks!

Thanks Sonya! Good to be back fishing and cooking! It was very very very good! It's called a stringer. You use it to clip your fish to. You clip one end to yourself and let the fish hang in the water, or over the edge of a small boat like a canoe, or secure it to the edge of the water when your fishing from the beach.
