At the end of the day, the people who hate this game lost big, and that’s a bummer. It sucks that they can’t enjoy the game, for whatever reasons. But those of us who absolutely love it, and were blown away, and enjoyed every minute of it (myself included). We won big. Arguments about if it’s good or bad aside.
@Maxx________Ай бұрын
Those of us who didn’t like it lost nothing, since it wasn’t for us lol. Incredibly disappointing to me and many others just like RE3 remake for me, personally. Glad you enjoyed Part 2 though

Not really, you may actually be a worse person for that. Let me show you: Neil Druckmann protected a guy who was groping people at Naughty Dog by firing his victims. This *exact* mindset was used to help set the morality of the story, where Abby is entitled to enact violence on others while Ellie, a victim, is punished for wanting to see Abby not get away with it. What should be done about Neil Druckmann? You're gonna find yourself making excuses because you didn't think twice about the story, when a normal person would say he should be locked up.

@@full-timeanimeman4341 If you watched the videos on their channel you'd know this is an actual, honest to goodness, pre-pubescent kid who's not in the age range for a game like TLOU2. As you can tell from their comments, they also didn't watch the video, which is all for the best given they are, as established, a child of neglectful parents who are failing them. Coincidentally, this is a sample-case for the target audience for TLOU2: People who genuinely don't know any better, encouraged not to learn to be better.

You know, watching this review multiple times, I'm really impressed how you got your points across without saying even one cuss word. Not that I would've minded if you did, but still, kind of rare thing in reviews these days, and for that, I take my hat off to you. I guess dealing with KZbin's algorithm is one thing, but it's also talent when you can stay perfectly chill in giving your opinions on a game like this one. As for the game itself, I've no interest in playing it, but even then, yikes about that story. Of course, in some defense of Abby about to kill pregnant Dina, sure, *we* *the* *players* know Ellie wasn't okay with killing Mel when she found out she was pregnant, but Abby didn't know. Still, no excuse for taking pleasure in such a thing when it makes you seem no better than your opposer, *ESPECIALLY* when your own campaign is trying to build you up as a good person after you murdered a character like Joel in a way that's going to divide fans in ways that Rian Johnson could only dream of.

I agree with everything in the video except for the gameplay. The entire section is just a nitpick with complaining about minor aspects and also a fair bit of a skill issue. You can tell when at the end he talks about auto aim. Man rlly is mad there’s no aim assist

I find that unsatisfying too because as soon as I developed some cool skill they ended the story and changed character and had to start all over again

The problem with this game is that it relies way too much on it's ability to manipulate your emotions. At the beginning of the game they make you hate abby, and what they want is that little by little they change your mind so that at the end of the game you love her. But for a lot of people it dosen't work cause they hate abby so much they don't even want to hear her version of the story. So the entire journey from hate to love fails and the player has a very bad experience.

I'm really glad you mentioned the real moral dilemma of the game was Joel's lie. It just seems like the more definitive "what would you do in this situation?" question of the game. It's something I've believed for a while and glad to see the sentiment shared. Loved the video, btw!
@gaia72402 ай бұрын
Yes but why did Joel lied? Even when he told the truth to ellie he still omitted details and didn't full explained the situation to her, why?
@SedateSomniatis2 ай бұрын
@@gaia7240 It's kinda up to interpretation, but to me it was always about not burdening her. He wanted her to live guilt free, like a normal (or as normal as you can get in this world) girl. As for why Joel didn't explain himself in part 2, you'd have to ask Druckman. But I doubt he'd give you a clear answer because he'd consider you a hater.

After watching literally scores of videos on KZbin your tutorial brought me into a sense of being in DCS again. Your video is one of the most simple and easy to understand videos I have watched over the past few weeks. You helped me to program my joystick, which is the VKB Gladiator NXT EVO, and also to get into the air for some fun. Of course it would be helpful to move past the basics. Please make a part 2 !. Still lots to learn.

It's all contrived such as Ellie torturing Nora. That's put in so that you can compare her torture to Abby's torturing Joel, but ofc their not the same as Abby does it for revenge/hate and Ellie does it to get information. It's not really in Ellie's character either, where Abby enjoys hurting people. Again, contrived to get bullet points for comparison. Complete drivel!
