@@blast78650 yes. This is an older version of the mod. Then, it did work on real hardware. In the current version (v3.0) I’ve had people report issues with the mod not working on real hardware.

This looks great! But when I try playing it on Dolphin it boots vanilla Mario Kart Double Dash. I tried to do everything step by step on the install guide but I'm sure I'm missing something and I just don't know what. I'm using pyisotools so any kind of idea on what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated.

You did something between this update and the last update that made the game unable to play in nintendont. I followed all the steps correctly, they worked for 2.0, but for 3.0 I get a blank screen when loading the game.

Does Mushroom Gorge still crash on console? And are the new tracks console-tested for crashing/not crashing?

Yes it does still crash for me. Update 3.1 seems to have fixed all of the track crashes on the console except Mushroom Gorge unfortunately. All the others tracks work perfect on my GC.

from what I've had to do was change the name of ISO using pyisotools. Possibly the Maker Code. I just say to change it just in case. For some reason that allows the mod to work. Otherwise it just loads the vanilla game.

I'd also change the Short Name and Long Name of the ISO as well on pyisotools. Just to be safe. If it works without having to change those please let me know.

@@emmanuelcoronado1989 MKDD Extended used gamecode: GM4E, and maker code: 64, I tried that but it didn't work. I also patched MKDD Plus 2.0 using all the same steps but using the default GM4E01, and it launched perfectly fine in Nintendont. But something is missing here, I've done these same exact steps with v3.1 but I get a blank screen in Nintendont when loading the game, no default game screen, no MKDD+ either. Trying to figure out what went wrong here. I feel like there is additional information left out from the INSTALL.txt.

Absolutely love this mod! The only issue I seem to have is when playing on GCN hardware the course wii mushroom gorge will immediately crash the game even though it runs great in dolphin.

Not yet for new characters although you can replace characters. I have no experience with modifying internal coding. I only make tracks. Sorry !

Good Job! I am about to make some videos including your new tracks. Btw. In the Install Guide you made a minor error in the sentence "Next, go to the Pathfiles Folder and copy the "files" and "sys" folders.". You are revering to the Patchfiles and not the "Pathfiles". Greetings.

since LAN mode connects 2 seperate system's and it was never designed for [this], i suspect that you'd need both parties to have the modded game. (duh)

Hey man, nice mod. I followed the steps correctly, but in the log, messages like 'Unable to locate staffghost.ght' appear, and when I try to play the generated ISO, the game is exactly vanilla.

The staff ghost thing is just a warning hence why it’s in Yellow. Are there no tracks when you go to courses?
