Not only do we need this but to find the reasons whywe have so many with kidney failure-I mean BOTH kidneys???! Why are both failing so completely. Makes little sense unless it is something we are filtering that is causing it to stop working.

It would be interesting to hear from living donors after 5-10 years

It is fake :) They still want new funding and are changing the promised date of clinical trials to a later date. It changes the date not by years, but by decades. Unfortunately.

We must STOP the human torture 3 times a week by hemodialysis. It is not human. Not think only for money.

Although you died young, you accomplished alot. A beautiful wife, and children. You are with God now, and although 50 is too young to die. You got two blessings. Wish you were still here, but you are with God now. Organ donors are lifesavers. If the time comes I go early enough for my organs to be reused, I think it's worth it.

The 90s were the worst period of my life. I was not happy at all. But there were a few bright spots that were a distraction for me. One of those was Deep Space 9. I remember not liking Nog at first but his character arc was so good and I ended up liking him a lot. Thanks for being part of DS9 Aron.

RIP Aron. I've been a fan since I first saw you on DS9. I'm in renal failure too. I do hemodialysis. I go into the treatment center 3 times a week for 4 hour each day. Been doing it for 4 years now.

Thank you Leah for sharing. I may be donating in the future and I'm trying to learn as much as possible. I learned 2 new things watching this video - 1) I did not know what 'hand assisted meant' and 2) donors go to the top of the list if they ever need a kidney.

In the past, I thought I would die from genital herpes and HIV, but after reading the testimonies of #DrKanayo Peterson curing dozens of people of HIV and herpes virus, I decided to contact him online and buy his herbal medicine which totally cured me.

I need a living donor for myself My blood type is B. Getting regular dialysis treatments, usually three times a week for four hours at a time, will help my kidneys do their job and keep me alive, but a transplant would offer me more freedom and the ability to live a longer, healthier, more normal life. A transplant would also give me more time to do the fun things I enjoy most, like spending time with my work. However, finding a kidney for a transplant is not easy. Just ask the 100,000+ people on the waiting list for a deceased donor kidney like me. Time is not on our side. Some wait for years; many die while waiting. The average wait time is five years or more for a kidney from a deceased donor. However, there is another option: receiving a kidney from a living donor, I will appreciate if you can help me to live again or if you want something for it just let me know. Thank you God bless you. You can text me at (770)666 2544

I never understand why everyone isn't a donor. If you really believe the urban legend that they harvest your organs as soon as your heart stops. You really need to forget that. It takes so much more than your heart stopping to allow them to harvest them.

This is a great project. I have been on dialysis for 10 years and have been waiting for a transplant, but I still don't know when. Or, there is no guarantee that you will receive it by the time you die. Kidney disease can be overcome whenever such a project is legislated and accessible to everyone. I want to receive it right away. Please help us so that we can implement it in Japan as soon as possible.
