Arcade enjoyer here. I actually see it as sharing kills. You set him on fire and I'm near I will deliver the Coup de grâce to then an we both score a kill (unless you had only crit them then that's a skill issue). When I get severe damage on an enemy I will often switch targets and severely damage a new foe, I don't care if the ground or and ally finishes the job, it's still a kill towards that 15%/40%/100% bonus (3/6/10 kills respectively) But can I take a moment to bring up the biggest issue in War Thunder in my eyes.. Dumb MF's that land on an occupied airfield trying to capture it with multiple enemy tanks on the runway. Like how did you expect that to go? Did you think they would just surrender the airfield? I honestly think if you land on a occupied airbase like that the second your wheels touch the ground AI (tanks and AA) will light you up with 100% accuracy. Make it clear that was stupid, don't do it again. Edit: Being able to play and grind multiple planes at once, (I have 5 crews per nation devoted to air and 4 for ground, naval... borrows the ground crews.. and only gets skillpoints after the tankers get maxed skills) it's the reason I love arcade, (other than the chaos) plus I can be super aggressive because of that. I mean who tried to out turn a zero in a JU88.... me that's who, when I identify a skill issue I have my fun. Also screw Missile Thunder, I prefer guns on close in dogfights. Edit 2: Arcade is not traumatising... for me... not sure I can say the same for those underkilled zero pilots Edit 3: Top tier air arcade is traumatizing, it's every complaint anyone has ever had about arcade multiplied by a hundred.
