One thing I've never understood regarding this subject. It seems like the wing loses strength at lower weights which I can't understand. At higher gross weights, wouldn't the wing be taking the same amount of stress or greater compared to lower weights? So why then can the same amount of relative wind break an airplane at a lower weight, but the same airplane at a higher gross weight would be fine? Again, it seems like the plane is gaining strength the heavier it gets which I can't wrap my head around

Can you please post the link to the version of this video with no music

I was struggling to understand why it works that way, but associating it with what does the stupid thing thinks what the aircraft is doing immediately made sense to me why it would indicate higher or lower. What a legend!!!!!

“All over the western US”? I just looked again and see one small square in Cato MOA. Where are all the other examples?

There is a version of each

Oh, that’s great, I’ll look for that other version because the music is very distracting and hard to focus on your amazing information. Thank you again for this video. It has helped me a lot.

I’m glad I found this video again. I needed it to brush up on my IFR written exam coming up soon. I wish you made another video to help test knowledge of airspace. I remember on my private pilot checkride. My examiner was drilling me on airspace.

Very confusing when you got to the map….
@aloha-rob25 күн бұрын
You need to look at extra KZbin videos on how to read sectionals once you got the basics down you’ll understand how to read it better. You don’t need to know everything on the map. There is a lot of information there just understand the basics.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t the 200kt limitation only for C and D airspace and not B?
@JohnLemieux27 күн бұрын
Oh nevermind I see someone already commented about this. 200kts *below* B airspace or in VFR corridors…

Are those stock wheels and tires on your plane? How much would you say that mesa strip increased your ground roll? Thanks🙂
@Loves2FlyАй бұрын
Stock tires are 6's, we put 8's on to make it a little more back country compatible. The bumpy grass at Steamboat probably increased the takeoff by 300 feet?
@thebestofbelltowneasthampt6679Ай бұрын
@@Loves2Fly So it’s likely the larger tires also contributed to the longer ground roll, would you agree?

Another way to remember the differences between the airspaces is Class A is Above, Class B is Birthday Cake (flip the airspace upside down it resembles a cake), Class C is Cap (or Cowboy Hat since the airspace resembles a cowboy hat flipped upside down), Class D is Dotted because it's dotted on the sectionals, Class E is everywhere, and Class G is Ground (for surface to the bottom of everywhere else)
