Very nicely done. I'm a DPE and I really emphasize airspace. These days with ADSB it is so easy for the FAA to know who just clipped the airspace by a bit and it's really important that pilots understand how to read a chart and understand the motives behind the rules. I will put a link to your video in the email I send private pilot applicants. Thanks for this excellent video.

Very good tutorial. I'm happy to see you excluded those bizarre, rarely or never seen, scenarios 'where less than 1200' AGL, but above 14,500 MSL blah blah blah ". The lowering of Class E to 700 AGL around airports, and it's shaded bands, is also confusing to many.

Absolutely awesome video! This alone has now taken me from being a somewhat clueless and confused airspace noob to a confidently clued airspace know-all as a Flight Sim enthusiast (with 9 real hours of PUT). Thank you! I like your memory aids. In order to have helped me to visualise and remember some of this information, I imagined class A to mean Airways and therefore the highest altitude class and only applicable to IR pilots, and class G to stand for Ground... and up to 1200 or 700 feet AGL, depending. I also now remember to BOOK my entry into class B airspace and to B clear of clouds! 😊👍

This is awesome! I learned that if you make something unusual, it's easier to remember. This does just that. However, there's one thing I personally added, that really makes sense...An F-111 is likely to be flying above 10,000, and a C-152 is likely to be flying below 10,000 MSL.

I started flying in 1986 back when there were TCA'S, ARSA's and CZ(control zones). Flew until the mid 2000's so I remember having to learn all the new airspace designations. I'm getting ready to retire and thought of getting back into flying, and let me say your F-111 and C-152 references are genius. I remember using flash cards for my FAA tests trying to get those cloud clearances stuck to memory, and of course forgetting them all once I stopped flying, your little cheat is a God send. Love both airplanes and now that's one thing if I start flying again I won't have to worry about remembering! Thank you.

Excellent 'airspace' presentation! - (explained very, very well!). A great refresher for someone who mostly flies IFR (me); the same guy who recently struggled with a VFR biannual flight-review when asked detailed questions regarding class E and G airspace. In hindsight, sure wish I had watched this video prior to that oral exam. Strong work! Again, thank you! GBL

I have watched many videos on this subject and this was the first time that someone took the time to give detailed examples on how to apply the knowledge that was being taught. I will definitely share this. It was awesome. Thank you
