Can I ask what happened to the battery though? looked like it was cracked and I wouldn't have trusted that old one. Do they still make that type?

We need to go back to a time when toys were dangerous and cool. Only the strong would survive, like God intended. 😄

When I was a child in 1877 I used to watch the freaks at the circus but I didn’t tell my ma that it scared me cause it’s either this or we cleaned but in 1907 when film began I use to watch dragon ball z all the time!

My Dad bought one of these in the late 60's. Years later, 2 parts of it were found in his shed. The flywheel and one part of the front roller. I've no idea what happened to the rest of it.

you reassembled it incorrectly. the sharpening pads on the spindle side are higher on the inside.

My Godfather had a collection of steam powered toys he started collecting when he was a kid in the 1940's. He never stopped adding to his collection. I will have to check but, I think this is the exact model steam roller that he had. It brings back great memories, Thanks!

Another magnificent restoration. Your work is simply hypnotic; I can't finish MY work because I want to watch all of your videos eheh. One question: The lamp is for 12 volts, isn't it? And the label says 110V. How does this magic work?

I do not know where, but my grandfather had similar a sharpener in excellent condition without label. There is a possibility that he received or bought it when he served in the Pacific Fleet during World War II on torpedo boats. Somewhere there is a manual meat grinder with the inscription made in the USA, apparently also from that time. It's in Russia.
