Everybody likes to say E.T. for the Atari 2600 was the worst game ever but there are so many games far worse than it. At least E.T. was actually a game, this is just a joke! I wonder how many copies this pile of garbage sold back in the day?

Very good sound effects for the time, and unusual for Sega Mega Drive. The large sprites and animated scenery are very good. I still have the Evander Holyfield cartridge, a predecessor game.

I played this soccer as a kid for many years and I had melted my eyes! I remember that in all the teams there were the names of all players normally. Is that a different version?

Sensible Soccer was released on many gaming systems. The Atari Jaguar version likely didn't have licenses to display the correct player names.

@@RetroGamingLoft I'm kind of confused by what you're saying, my friend. I had the original Atari Jaguar console and Sensible Soccer version of '94. All players names were correct in all the teams (nationals and clubs). So it's obvious that the names displayed legally.

The Atari Jaguar version was released in 1993. I played the original version a long time ago, but I can't recall if the names were displayed correctly. Also, I've played every Sensible Soccer version ever released, and I've encountered versions with correctly displayed names and others where the names were creatively altered. While I absolutely believe you, I also think that after 30 years, it’s difficult to remember all the specifics and what was what.

@@RetroGamingLoft You're right about that. But I happen to be a person with strong memory and remember things clearly even thirty years later! I've still got the console abandoned in a corner somewhere with the three games (sensible soccer, Kasumi ninja and sybermorphe). An uncle of mine had given it to me and he had even told me that no other Atari Jaguar games were released in Greece then but these three only. I still remember my excitement when I saw my country's national team included with players' names correctly!

One of the best video games i ever saw as of May 1982. Was in the bar of a leisure centre. Couldn't get it's name as it was on free play and the name didn't come on the screen. Found the game again nine months later and got it's name. Still like watching it being played even now.

This was super basic because it was a 4K game (coded by Macbeth). Check out my sweet ice cream cone -- er, I mean spaceship -- animation! Those sprites took up so much of the available RAM that there wasn't any room left to add detail to the buildings or a custom character set for the text.

@@RetroGamingLoft Mash always took itself very seriously and respectful about war, the operations, etc, any time violence and stuff was involved. For Mash then to turn it into a marketing "toy" and video game, goes against what Mash represented imo.

For all the hype I used to hear about this game, it looks rather dull. Giving the positive = time, some ATARI 2600 games like HAUNTED HOUSE, SPACE INVADERS, MISSILE COMMAND, and Ms. PAC MAN were pretty good.
