You wouldn't think that Nick Cave's deeply personal songs, sung originally in his deep voice, would translate so beautifully into Nell's haunting, wistful delivery...but they absolutely do. Watching this video just now brought tears to my eyes. She left us an incredibly moving gift.

I wasn't personally close with Nell, but I grew up with her briefly. She was on my basketball team back in late 2019/2020 and she was always nice to me and I consider myself lucky to have known her. I pray that her close friends and family are all doing okay during this time and that hopefully in another dimension or life we know each other again 💙
