Even though its electric I actually quite like this. Nice looking car in a quirky kind of way and I know you don’t like the interior but the minimalist look gives it clean lines so I can live with that. Totally agree on the tyres and brakes,they need a premium upgrade especially with that kind of acceleration. Wheels on electric cars always look terrible so if they can be replaced then even better. Hopefully you can get a track day with it soon as it does look like it would be a lot of fun. With the necessary upgrades of course 😅

This may seem like a strange thing to say 😆 I know it’s essentially a Renault but for some reason it’s just so much more appealing with Mitsubishi branding. I love the sills,although not required,they maybe give it an individuality that separates it from Renault. It’s a good car unfortunately. Unfortunately because they have stopped selling Mitsubishi in my country 😕 Which is a great pity because they were always a great alternative choice over the more popular brands.
@RonnieCurrie-ze1tr9 күн бұрын
I like the interior and its panoramic roof,the interior looks solid. But I agree. It’s not a very appealing looking car. If you remember Perodua ,MG’s are kind of the same idea. Built with no affection or soul,just as money spinners and not for the love of driving.

Now this is a car I can definitely get behind as opposed to the Jogger. The Jogger is a good car for the money,very functional but cheaper parts mean less durable. I would certainly pay the more premium price for this Tourneo as it looks a better place to sit in. Also better to drive
@RonnieCurrie-ze1tr15 күн бұрын
The Dacia seems to be very basic but very functional and economical. What more do you need ?🤷🏼♂️ I have a suspicion that Dacia may creep into the more expensive market slowly and defeat their own purpose as being the no frills budget choice which people,who just want an A to B car,may find off putting. This happened with Kia and Hyundai who started off as the cheap choice for motorists not wanting to spend a lot of money. They eventually started getting more expensive and more luxurious as time went on. I know that a Sandero almost doubled in price because of the better equipment added. I personally wouldn’t buy a Dacia to be honest. Wow I didn’t realise Slovakia was so beautiful 🤩 👍🏼

@upshifter19 күн бұрын
I have to be honest, I didn´t drive new or previous Corolla yet (I drove new Yaris and last gen of C-HR). But from what I saw, when I just looked at its conception, wheel geometry, I am of opinion, Corolla will be a more resolved car in corners. Skoda on the other hand will probably be better noise isolated on the motorway. Generally, I would take Japanese. So Corolla or Mazda3. :)
@aleksandarkostadinov328417 күн бұрын
@upshifter Thank you for taking the time to reply! And thanks for your video, it has been just what I needed for the Scala experience through and through. @aleksandarkostadinov3284 I think, take the Toyota. It will be more reliable and Japanese know how to do chassis as well. And if it's a Hybrid, the fuel consumption will be just Incredible!

For long trips, a charging curve is a very relevant info of any EV: It's how fast it charges (kW) vs how full the battery already is (percentage). Usually the lower the battery percentage, the faster you can charge. The range of the car is secondary as soon as you get into trip lengths of more than one battery charge. I hope 100kW is not the maximum charging speed of the car, because for 45k€ (which the all electric 308SW costs) you could instead get the Hyundai Ioniq 5, which is also a great family vehicle and can charge with more than 200kW due to its 800V technology.
@upshifter20 күн бұрын
Yeah but also if Peugeot can take 100kW for longer time, in the end it can charge in the same time or close to as Ioniq5 with higher max but for very short time. From what I talked with Stelantis engineers, they are taking approach of saving battery from long term.

I’m in between this exact trim and version of the Peugeot and the alfa Romeo junior hybrid speciale with the exact same engine
@upshifterАй бұрын
Peugeot is interesting, because it's both comfortable and fun to drive despite that bit of softness. Junior is small SUV, which means higher centre of gravity, together with shorter wheelbase. But I do believe in terms of suspension, Alfa Romeo engineers did a great job for driving fun and engagement as they always do. But Junior might have slightly worse fuel economy particularly because of worse drag coefficient than the Peugeot.

Am I the only one who is truly disappointed with the engine noise? To me it’s not understandable why Renault is putting an engine that is more noise than a Fiat500 in an car that for the rest feels like a upper class luxury vehicle. As for consumption: 6.6l/100km over a 5000 km test drive. Not bad for a big car , but less exceptional than I was expecting for the commercial documentation. But, if you can live with the noise , it is impressive.
