How does the pigment dust stick to the tiles? I was expecting that when you dry brushed after the pigment dust, that they would just smear together.
@magicdicemanufacturing29 күн бұрын
@@TriMarkC A lot depends on the pressure you apply with the brush. Usually after applying the powder, I spray a thin layer of isopropyl alcohol to absorb the pigments... this helps in the possible passage of a dry brush given with a light hand. 😉

Just found your channel, and love how you do things just a little more interesting! Great music too! I especially like the border you’ve standardized in your tiles! Do you use modpodge or similar as a base coat? Oh, when you write down your measurements, please pause for another second or two so we can pause the video to see them. Take care!
@magicdicemanufacturing29 күн бұрын
Thanks for he feedback. Yes I will let the info a little more on screen, and yes I use a decoupage glue (more cheap in EU than modpodge) to give a protective coat. Probably I will talk about this in the next video. Thanks again 😉

I haven’t seen anyone else do small modular steps like this! Nice! While a bit more work, since intent is to be able to stack these, and these are all so light, if I make these too I’ll likely add magnets in key sides.

Ciao!
