When I touch up the filter with oil after waiting 20 min to let it dry should I wait 20 more mins, sorry I wrote this out kinda confusing. I hit the bong right before I typed this out.

I've had K&N filter oil film cause dirt to collect on MAF sensor causing engine problems until I cleaned the MAF sensor. Either the K&N oil vapor caused dirt to collect on the MAF sensor, or the K&N filter lets dirt pass causing dirty MAF sensor. I also the K&N air duct hits the cooling fan cutting hole in duct causung engine problems.

(f060j6 k&n B052H8 10 inch ) but i cant find no info if its oiled based or dry, i went to autozone and they had no idea, some said it was oiled some others said dry. its a mess

Can you explain me what the f... Is a difference between mazda 3 2.0 skyactive g and mazda 6 2.0 skyactiv g? I see overal air cold intakes to gj 2.5l and this set for mazda 3 2.0.... why i cant find nothing for my car? Before i had 2006 gg 2.0 with simota was a happy days

K&N Dryflow air filters are designed to be serviced with cleaner. If you clean the filter without the cleaning solution the surface may look clean but contaminants could still be trapped within the filter media. K&N air filters with black filter material feature our Dryflow technology, which is different from the traditional oiled cotton filters. These filters do not use oil as part of the filtration process and only require the use of filter cleaner when servicing. I bought new filters for my q50s because I thought they were the stock ones just really dirty till I was looking at the edges before throwing away I saw k and n and knew I could just buy the cleaning kit instead of the new filters going to return tomorrow 👍👍

I just finished using my first K&N oil filter, I change my filter and oil every 5000 kilometres and I can say from experience now that the K&N performance filter did a very good job at keeping my oil very clean!

There is actually so much nonsense being said about KN (dust) My BMW mechanic (40+ years of experience, leads GS tours through Europe) said about KN good permanent filters that provide a little more power and allow the engine to breathe better. On the topic of dirt/dust he said it was irrelevant in the area that you would never notice. He knows a lot of people with KN filters in their GS 🤷🏻♂️ I've been driving extremely happily for years.

i bought 6; while 3 are drying usually 2 days to be sure I install the other 3 filters; even though I hated to buy 6 at first it makes life so much easier and these filters are really good and efficient and they save a ton of money
