Rolling my eyes at her comment about the lockdown period. People who hated the president were fine with people in Maine losing their business or job because a jerk walked by and saw that an employee's mask was a millimeter above their nostrils and they were reported for not complying. I've lived in Maine my entire 55 years and I'm still disgusted at how Nazi-ish people here became! I will never forgive any of them. This artist is a woman of means. She could afford to do whatever she wanted and if her mask wasn't covering her nostrils "appropriately" her friends wouldn't care. Those same friends reeked havoc on this state and it's people!!!!

Thank you for this series. As a naive artist, botanical illustrator and lover of nature I eat up the story within a painting…

I’ve know David Fairbairn and his artworks since he’s lived in a huge art studio in Butlers Wharf London, around 45 years ago, and he’s pressed on with his drawings with such consistently. His artworks have become increasingly more explorative within his own genre and now I can see how highly specialized he’s become within his own unique style. I thought that his William Dobel winning artwork was something but he’s extrapolated from that level yet further again. I love Suzanne Archers more recent artworks too and so admire both their dedication to their talent. It’s only a matter of time before either, or both, of their works will be hung in the Australian National Art Gallery, if they’re not already! I’m painting in Spain so I’m a bit behind with the Australian scene. So good to see Richard Morecroft still doing a fine job too.

I loved hearing about his feelings for the landscape areas he loves, and how he works in light through candles, and historical figures. The blue flowers are beautiful and the sea and coastal parts are amazing too. Very interesting all around, and inspiring. Thank you for sharing this! Paula
