That 30.000 waterproofness is farfetched. Even gore-tex (the current best) isnt that performing. So i take it with a grain of salt. Willing to bet first rain and ill be wet. (Got wet with gore-tex gear. Gonna get wet with others.)

Very stiff tyre. I run them tubed and wow they can be a struggle to fit / remove, particularly on the rear wheel. Not entirely sure I would buy again but we will see.

What are the sizings like on these jackets? I'm not a fan of jackets that are constricting especially for off road riding. Do you need to size up from the recommended size for this to not feel like a racing suit?

Good question. The hook on mine is even on the rough side. Im going to remove the hook and replace it with a smooth pin. They should have done something different there..

XD-4 is so good possibly not surprise take so long for an XD-5. Looking forward to trying new helmet out.

Are supposed to take the winch cable out of the hook once attached, or leave it. My concern with is wear on the cable rubbing against the hook?

Oops, forgot to mention that LS2 produce their own Bluetooth headset which fits into the Bezel part of the hinge mechanism and is said to be excellent, easy to fit and works with Garmin and TomTom sat Navs, and IOS and Android smartphones, hope this helps you guys.👍😃

What a lot of folk don’t know is that Shark helmet’s produced ‘the Evo Line GT’ which is very expensive but brilliant, So LS2 copied this and sold it as the Valiant, knowing full well the Shark would start a law suit against them, but clever LS2 were working on a slightly different way on their locking system so as to not continue to break Sharks patent, they immediately introduced this and settled out of court with Shark but by this time they had made thousands of dollars and were totally happy, got this info from the main UK importer so immediately bought one 2 years ago, brilliant and one of the best helmets around, I have a ARAI Corsair RR, a Shoei Spirit 2 Abi rep, and a Shoei Neo Tec flip up ( same as the Police use here in the UK) yet the LS2 Valliant is by far the better helmet, it’s only minor fault is that it tends to ‘mist up’ in cold weather and it’s heavier than my others, not a concern when riding a BMW 1200 RT. Love it.

Do not do liké me. Nevers buy nor test any motorcycle boots without Gear renforcement. I have puchased thèse patrol boots and now after only 30000km I have a hole in the boot because thé renforcement on this boot is just a drawn one and not a protection patch.

Speaker plug SUX!!!!!!!!! You must push the plug in SO HARD to make water proof, the plug can break, and break it has I've gone through 3 speakers now. Good luck!
