I am a huge James McMurtry fan and the same rage and intensity that simmers in his music absolutely boils over in the songs of Stephen Wilson Jr. What an amazing artist you are sir. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing this. It's a great warm-up to Sponge's official Rotting Pinata outtake album in 2024 (extremely pssyched for that).... "Lullaby" is an interesting twist, not too far removed from the final version but still interesting; hearing "Imaginary Marriage" is unexpected, as this means the song has a version for all 3 eras of the band's classic lineup, I can't think of any other band who has done that to the same song 3+ times in a row lol; I had no idea "Come In From the Rain" was this old, I think the final version in the 2000s is more well-rounded, but this is solid too; "Today Tomorrow" is a banger, that should've made the final album no doubt, probably my favorite here; "Anyone Feeling Down" is actually very different from Sponge's normal stuff, I think it could've worked as a single though.

@@Stinkybutt44 One of Sponge's media guys made a FB post about it earlier this year. He asked fans to send in any Pinata era photos/memories, as they were working on an outtake album. Hopefully it'll be finished this year. They probably want to wait a little bit, since Planet Girls came out recently already.
