You’ll be happy with that one. Yes it’s not a sport machine, but the Yamaha 4 stroke engines are bulletproof

I have always owned and raced dirtbikes and quads and always wanted to ride snow mobiles to, they look like a good time.Not enough snow around here to need one though.

That 245 looks slightly larger than what Gunnar was holding. I know he was a big man, but the length looks more like the 306a

The bar and chain are whatever you want them to be. It probably came with the 16" bar, I added the 20" bar. Both saw could have come from the factory with 16"-20" bars.

No it has a 3 cylinder.

Could be similar to the MT-09, but i have no real idea. It's a 3 cylinder though, with power right off the bottom. It has gobs and goes of torque, and with the CV drive, you're just...THERE! It's pretty wild. I have never experienced this before. Which is REALLY cool for me. And this isn't even a really fast/sporty sled. Can't wait to try out something like a snow pro 858. Or a Thundercat! This Venture is just a big cruiser.

@novicelumberjack
@novicelumberjack Күн бұрын
So... did you not fully watch the video? It's not just the filter cover. It is the whole fuel tank that would need to be replaced. It's a 245. If you cannot understand that, I cannot convince you otherwise. Enjoy your bliss.

Great little saw. I bought a 4310 today. Runs great and super lightweight. Great for limbing and smaller stuff up to around 12 inches. I'll be using it a lot hopefully coming years. Has the same rated power as my 20 plus year old Husky 353 but feels a bit more lively and torquey. Every bit as good as I hoped for.

Tree was leaning the way it fell. And you cut the holding wood on the uphill side. If you're that close to your hinge and tree hasn't started beat on your wedges until it does give or double up your wedge...you needed 2 or 3 inches of hold

I have both saws both ported my particular saw the 359 has the edge but then again not everyone's builds are gonna be the same. The 620 is pretty much a factory ported saw look at the inside of the cylinder compared to the 590 there different

I agree here. Stihl is overpriced. I don't think their quality is any better than echo or husky. But that's only my prerogative. Personally with all the saws I've ran over the years, I feel husky is the fastest stock. But echo never ever let's me down and they are so simple to repair! Stihl is just like Audi and Volkswagen, great when it's new, but so many steps to do a simple repair.

Curious the differences in the mods, I drilled 6, 7/32 holes 4 round the pipe and 2 on the opposing face to avoid direct flow from the cylinder (to keep the noise down for residential cutting, someone here recommended that), thoughts on the difference in power from going full send, awesome work sir.

I'm with ya about Stihl. They make great products. But, they're far from the be all end all saw manufacturer. By all means, for those that have that brand stigma, continue way overpaying for overengineered saws with average performance and proprietary parts😊
